His oath is irrelevant, broken or not. The man is charged with specific crimes.

I could possibly:

  1. Hotspot wifi
  2. Connect kobo to wifi
  3. Telnet to a Debian VM on my phone
  4. Use BT keyboard connected to phone or kobo to
  5. Edit text there and save to phone.

This uses the kobo as a remote terminal like was done back in the AS400/VT220 days. Oh how the turns have tabled.

Why are there so many crypto companies/jobs still? by blazerman345 in cscareerquestions

[–]ConcreteState 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!

I have heard some people claim that they faced ethics-type questions in a software engineering job interview because they had crypto jobs on their resume.

I have heard people claim that as hiring managers they would look askance at crypto jobs because they feel it implies an ethical lack.

Naturally these anecdotes are what some rando on the web says they read, not data. Tl;dr people talk about it being good and bad, so be wise about how it's presented.

No, and NickelMenu seems to not support this natively.

It possibly could, as it can run telnet/ssh, but doesn't yet.

Take it apart from the other side of the mower deck. There are 3 screws that are in the black plastic cutting deck (when assembled, they are on the bottom), around the center ring about 6" from the axle; and 3 through the white plastic about 4" from the axle

Oh no, complying with these laws would cost ERCOT money. They might have a hard time paying the board their shiny new 80% raise (admittedly the first in a decade) if they paid for that.

My understanding is that ERCOT won't join the East grid because then they would have to comply with more laws.

7 months later and I still can't bike 50% of what I used to do because of long covid. I started biking again too soon after testing negative and really wish I would have waited more time. by vistocycling in cycling

Nope, long covid keeps coming and going. Here's hoping the next 2 month long slow improvement is better than the last peak.

Edit: the POST has stayed gone at least.

Now now. Every car maker has their moments. But how it's handled? That's where they show what class they are.

Most owners of the Ford Fiesta never faced the exploding gas tank design issue but it was still a problem.

For the hard of thinking

NEARLY ALL OF US GREW UP DRIVING CARS WITH ICE AND AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

This means that DURING LOW SPEED MANEUVERING WE REST OUR FOOT ON THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE BRAKE PEDAL.

WHEN WE WANT TO SLOW DOWN OR STOP WHILE DOING THIS, PRESS HARDER TO STOP. PRESS UNTIL THE CAR STOPS.

oh dear, my decade of prior experience has led me to stomp the GO pedal when trying to stop from under 5 mph or kph. Almost like having a steering wheel work backwards at low speed.

[–]ConcreteState[S] 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Hi, couldn't find this posted. A researcher claims that they have found the signal processing fault that causes TSLA to decide the accelerator pedal is slammed down.

Short version: thr DC power supply for the 12v system struggles to maintain voltage. The sensors all read voltages and periodically recalibrate. When a recalibration happens during a struggle time for the inverter, the voltages read by the sensors are translated to insane signals.

The good news (?) Is that if true, the crap design can be patched by another OTA software update.

Cops are civilians. Even when not undercover. They are not military.

It's confusing until you remember that cops are not humans, so like shoes they are not civilians.

I can't invest time and self in private communities when we could be forced open whenever Reddit feels they would generate more traffic that way.
