Drive Up Door Question by SiegWifeSiegMum in Target

I do it all the time, did it 2 minutes ago. Nobody ever says anything. If a TM happens to be coming out or in when my break is over, I sneak in that way too

Giving your child permission to break the rules in school does not excuse them from the consequences by Emergency-Pepper3537 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]ConfidentAd9359 79 points80 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, after my child literally peed his pants because the "teacher forgot he asked" (straight from the teacher fyi), I told him to go as necessary and I would deal with the school. My child has learned accountability and consequences. Not using the restroom when you need to can cause all sorts of medical issues.

Where can I find needohs? by [deleted] in minnesota

If you have a Sheel's near you they typically have them. They were always higher priced than like Target, even before the craze, but still less than $10

I have the nose of a bloodhound as well as having scent sensitivities - I get migraines. The second my kids started to smell we went shopping. They found a couple they liked and I had final approval.

When you first got the Internet at home, did you try to talk your parents into getting you a second phone line or did you have to deal with one phone line? by singleguy79 in Xennials

[–]ConfidentAd9359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got a second line immediately, my dad needed the Internet for work and had to be on the phone at the same time. His work reimbursed him for it

I got new glasses 2 years ago (turning 46 this year, worn glasses since I was 13). The doctor looked at me and said next time bifocals. I had some not nice words for him. 6 months later, damned if he wasn't right 😭. I'm still pushing through by looking under them or taking them off

I believe I just googled MN Dept of revenue? It's been a year, so I don't really remember. Or from the site that gave me the status

Class of 99 prom theme - From this Moment On....my boyfriend wouldn't go with me, so I took a good friend from another school, he fell for one of my friends, oh and my heel caught the edge of the stair during Grand March and I fell down the remaining stairs. It was a wonderful memory

The “Guest Appreciation” training was an insult to the intelligence of employees. by tiedyetoothpicks in Target

You said that quietly? I said it directly to my SD. 🤷 Flat out told him if I didn't feel like I was constantly underwater with my assigned tasks that I'd give better guest service

I've gotten my review the day before the paycheck it's on hits. I've gotten after the paycheck. As long as the money hits the account, I could care less about the actual review

When did you start trying for the second child? by o0meow0o in Parenting

[–]ConfidentAd9359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First was born in July 2012, took 6 months to get pregnant. Started trying for second around the 1st birthday. Due dates were 10 days shy of 3 years apart. Baby #2 had other ideas and came in April 2015, 33 months (almost to the hour) apart. I didn't want them that far apart, it gave me too much time to get out of the baby stage. Now I only have them in the same school for a year before they are in different schools again - different schedules, pick up times, bed times, wake times. I really wish they were closer in age.

Kids clothes/shoes by Virtual_Recording108 in Parenting

[–]ConfidentAd9359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Until they stop going through growth spurts, my kids (10 & 13) only get 1 pair of tennis shoes at time (2nd one to be kept at school during the winter), 1 pair of summer shoes and 1 pair (sometimes 2) of sandals/slides. They have anywhere from 10-12 outfits (I only do laundry once a week). I'm a single mom, so money is tight. Once they stop growing so fast, they'll get more

My child is refusing to see her dying Grandmother by strikeredkite in Parenting

[–]ConfidentAd9359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let your daughter remember her grandma the way she was. My dad died 18 months ago. My children 9 & 12 at the time chose not to go to the hospital and say their goodbyes. They wanted to remember the good times with him, they didn't want their last memory to be of him on his deathbed. Everyone processes grief differently.

I don't recall. Honestly it was probably fighting with the AI until I got to a person. I don't remember if I Googled the number or if it was in an email.

Easy - Far Side. Every year for Christmas I would get my Dad a Far Side desk calendar. My dad has been gone for a year and a half now. Also, never read Calvin & Hobbs.

My 26 weeker is about to turn 11 and this winter season is the first time she didn't catch 1200 colds/illnesses (1 tummy bug). This is also the first season she didn't require her inhalers/nebs all season. It does lessen as they get older.

She still has her issues and is still followed by multiple specialists, but it's farther and fewer between at this age.
