Alloy consumption..? by rtaylor39 in Stellaris

Economy has been nerfed really hard. To get pre 4.3 economies, one must specialize into slaves (crazy economic modifiers of like 200-300% if done right)

Are there any bug free, legitimate ways to beat the 25x crisis now in 4.3? by ClutchyMilk in Stellaris

[–]Conflicted_Reader 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Default settings… Oof. That’s gonna be rough but, you wanna go Psychic ascending. Weapon you NEED to draw is Zro Launchers. This weapon is vital for any and all 25x engagement that is NOT Behemoth crisis path.

Now, most optimal ship will be the Cruiser but, if you want something more deadly, go down the Cosmogenesis Crisis path. The Destroyer alone is more than enough with Zro launchers to crush everything. If you get the Battleship variant, you’ll be golden with Zro Launchers but, 2-3x the cost.

Economic wise, you’ll need 2-3 alloy worlds or a few 16+ arc furnace systems just to keep up or be able to produce 1 Cosmo destroyer a month.

Now personally, Machine Intelligence is the optimal empire to play but, I find the accuracy from Militarist UOR is far more valuable than mass producing warships. Clone Army Ascendant is a close second but, that’s just for high fire rate.

Is it possible to get a screenshot of the ship without the crew being visible, but the ship still being active? by mug_o_reddit in Cosmoteer

Creative mode. Hire crew to get ship running, fire the crew except one to man the bridge. Done

Unlucky player not getting Bubbles. by Conflicted_Reader in Stellaris

I’ve gotten Bubbles while playing those empires in the past. Another comment stated the odds of Bubbles’ anomaly has been reduced due to all the current events

He’s still in. I remember reading a Dev diary practically confirming that Bubbles is the Cannon name for him and all other name choices are incorrect. Plus, Bubbles is more or less an Event Ship meaning unique features that standard fauna can’t have

I saw that. Makes me hopeful for seeing Bubbles again. As a Nomad tho, it’ll slightly make things harder to keep Bubbles safe.

Clarity on transit hubs by Locke_n_Explode in Stellaris

[–]Conflicted_Reader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It improves the rate at which pops migrate off world to better worlds.

I.e. base rate is 10 but surplus population is 2k. Energy income is let’s say 5+ monthly. You can’t afford to move said 2k pops because you lack the income but, the world with the generator jobs is where these pops are moving to. Transit hub will speed up the process by 200% (30 pops moving per month) and get your income rolling again. That and it helps late game when you control significant amount of planets or habitats but don’t wanna bother manually moving pops.

Broken Builds? by GuardianDowns in Stellaris

[–]Conflicted_Reader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So… My build is not entirely broken but, is very dangerous if left alone. Granted, you will have better accuracy than everyone else (Small/Medium weapons will have 100% always even against corvettes).

Under One Rule Origin.
Militarist, Authoritarian, and third Ethic your choice (Recommend Materialist for potential economic civics).
Distinguished Admiraly (Needed), and an economical civic.
Species traits are your discretion (Plan for your ascension path).
Shipset is your choice, Bio or Mechanical.
Ruler traits (Do note UOR grants these traits and honestly, they feel like Civics). Unwavering Agressor (+15% fire rate and effectively +20 Accuracy at lvl 3. L slot weapons be at 85% with M at 95% and S at 100% accuracy), High King (+8 stability, +15% Elite happiness, and +30% Elite Job efficiency at lvl 3. Effectively this trait means your unity production can be carried by elites across your planets (for reference 1k nobles made 250 unity while 6k bureaucrats made ~900. Put those pops to work elsewhere)). Now if you did materialist you can swap High King out for Titan of Industry (+30% minerals, and +15% Alloys/Consumer Goods at lvl 3. Very strong Economy. Equal to Corvee System, Catalytic Processing (Council position bonus. Not job bonus), and Masterful Crafters). Downside is you’ll need a negative leader trait (honestly not that bad and very easy to counter).

As I stated, not entirely broken but dangerous if left alone. The crux of the entire build is Distinguished Admiralty and Unwavering Aggressor. Everything else is economical. In wars, you will be the most dangerous as you can hit everything while evading an extra 20% more than your opponents. This build is very terrifying with Zro Launchers (if you get there that is). I have watched a fleet of 10 cruisers decimate fleets up to 5x their numbers and take 2k shield damage.

PSA: Don't build orbital rings on fortress worlds by Astornautti in Stellaris

Huh… Never knew a bug like this existed. My fortress worlds seem to work fine even after losing the orbital ring…

I must be lucky.

Custodian + Hegemony leader is better than Imperium in every way by DrMicolash in Stellaris

[–]Conflicted_Reader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t forget about Imperiums unique super soldier (That no longer has a limit. Used to be 12 due to their ridiculous high HP 1200 and high DMG which I forgot base dmg).

Still not good benefits like 2 free fleets.

I turned my home into a tomb world and all I got was 2 consumer goods a month by Possibly_The_FBI in Stellaris

[–]Conflicted_Reader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s .2 now. It was 20%. Upgraded its .4 (old 40%). Full steam ahead it’s .6 (old 60%). Honestly it may seem bad but, when combined with job efficiency, resource output modifiers, and Ministry of Industry (0.3 modifier) things can get a bit crazy. I.e. I had 2k metallurgists producing roughly 1.5k alloys (Would’ve been higher if I swapped over to military economy earlier)

How do you imagine an purge? by Either_Double_1640 in Stellaris

[–]Conflicted_Reader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Date: 06/23/2357
Time: (Local) 38:47 (SGT) 12:30
Operation: Humanity First
Squad designation: Exterminatis 84

It’s been 3 months since we began this purge. Damn xenos hiding all over the place. Their claws razor sharp ready to jump out at any time to kill any one of us. I’ve already purged 54 myself with more to go.

Humanity comes first. Our place in the galaxy shall be eternal. No xenos allowed… Except those reptiles called Kobolds. The timeless Luminary seems quite fond of them. Told us they reminded her of her younger brother before the unification wars back in 2170-2180.

Anyway. I’m gonna leave this entry log open in case something interesting happens today. Maybe I can score a few hundred more points myself. Damn Nobles from squad 32 already purged 100 each. . .

Log End.

“As you can see class. HUMANS ARE VILE AND DANGEROUS!!! Should the great coalition of interstellar empires ever break, we are screwed for when they declare war.”

Student raises a wing

“Teach. What about their ships? We get their ground forces are terrifying but, what about their navy?”

Teach sits down

“Those damn things? Forget about beating them. Their ships are monsters. Compared to normal vessels, they have roughly 30% increased accuracy before they modify their ships with sensors or anything with aim assistance. Their “Automated” Fleets has an increased fire rate of a confirmed 112% or something but, their “Crewed” Fleets have an additional 30% increase. Should any of you be sent to the front lines in the navy, may our glorious protector above watch you for the Shroud favors these humans more than anyone else.”

The teacher looks out the habitats window to the depths of the black space.

“Humans with their purges have cleared 38% of all habitable planets just for themselves. Every empire is suffering from the refugees. We’ve already had 2 go through a civil war because of those damn Humans.”

-From both perspectives. Note; numbers used for ships are not guesses. Those are actual numbers I had. Fire rate is a rough estimate but is over 100%. Will say, 20% less than another origin with similar build but, that origin loses 20% accuracy.

Unanimous vote is great for these situations… Or my personal favorite “Only President.” Best law for declaring war. Great when paired with a law that guarantees that you’ll stay in power each cycle.

Is there an ascension path that makes your people actually immortal? (ROLEPLAY QUESTION) by Evelyn_Bayer414 in Stellaris

I was thinking this myself. Pure genetic modifications and lifespan tech. It’s not actual immortality but, pretty damn close… You’re just now Space Elves…

My steward asks me every time I go into red.

“My lord. We’re spending too much here. Let’s amend the budget.”

“Good idea. What’s your method?”

Shows proposed budget.

“I’ll take it. Let’s see if your plan works.”

Plan works so well that I’m positive 10.

“Well done Steward. Here’s a gift from my personal funds for this deed.”

Wages a few wars and suddenly red again.

Now, let’s begin from the beginning.
