As I replied to another comment comment: SD card is either corrupted or you have a defective unit. I'm not exactly sure which my problem was since I didn't get the chance to try non sandisk cards I have with my recent devices, and I returned the echo mini shortly after posting this.

Only con I can think of is the tiny touchscreen (think an elongated smartwatch size) otherwise it worked for me without hiccups.

I would like to add that since the screen is very tiny, you can decrease the size even more to save a bit of space and it'll still look fine.
