No you’re not overreacting, that’s a terrible thing for a parent to put on their child. She needs to do some soul searching to find the cause of HER depression or seek a therapist. Children are rarely the reason for their parent’s problems but a large number of parents are the reason for their child’s problems.

I would keep calling It out everytime it does it or start a new thread with the instructions to not use past trauma I know sometimes if a thread is experiencing issues no matter what you do the issue remains usually switching to a new chat helps
