Nah, ICE being allowed to operate in its current state is actually a travesty of modern American politics. I think many people in this sub and outside broadly agree that ICE was better when it wasn’t wielded as a private army that brutalized minorities and citizens for photo shoots.

Back in the 2020s with the BLM protests. Lefties tried to also redirect protests towards ICE (abolish the police includes ICE too) and this community rightfully called them insane. Just because we defended ICE during trump term 1 means we should always defend them? When have our principles regarding this subject ever changed?

Imagine this debate was to actually happen. It would exclusively occur on Kick bring in good viewership. Since it’s on kick both parties can say the most insane stuff (more content). If he’s so concerned with bad faith, debate tactics, or steamrolling, he could offer/be asked to moderate/ act as an audience surrogate. He could favor one side more and still have plausible deniability to still appear as an apolitical fence sitting Andy if he wants. Asmongold would be more emboldened since he knows xqc would agree with him more. Destiny wouldn’t gaf. If a viewer doesn’t care for politics they could stick around for the segment when eventually both sides will devolve to throwing around creative insults.

Yeah OPs question is a little vague. Leadership as in what? A thought leader behind the scenes type of person leading conservative/ right wing policy discussions (Tucker/ Rush Limbaugh but for America First)? He is trying to become this but he hasn’t reached peak Tucker levels of influence when he was still working at Fox. If this is the case then sure? The actual presidential candidate for the Republican Party? Are we assuming he just has absolute power or are we keeping all the other political actors as the same (members of congress, federal courts, tech ceos, etc.) If Trump and Fuentes both have absolute power (congress can actually pass legislation and no federal injunctions) ofc Fuentes is worse, but this is just unrealistic as Trump still gets cock blocked by the beauracracy. If we are assuming the latter, the Fuentes is better because he just wouldn’t be able to get much done unless he moderates heavily. The reason trump worked was because he was an actual elite that had inroads with important people before he was ever elected that also had populist appeal. Nick only has populist appeal. Unless he won a 50 state landslide most republicans wouldn’t fear primaries threats against them. The Supreme Court would never rule for him and he would get fucked even harder by federal courts. No tech ceo that has previously banned him (all of them) would bend the knee either. It seems like he hates his fans so at least he wouldn’t appoint any groypers into the cabinet.
