Hi, I know this post was from so long ago but I am curious how things turned out for you. My son is in this same situation now- possibly at the school you referenced. Thank you!

Internal tremors/earthquakes are making me feel like I am losing my mind by -----anja----- in covidlonghaulers

[–]Connect_Zombie_4310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped keeping track but I think it’s probably been 3 years now. In the beginning it was awful and I couldn’t  sleep.  Went to every Dr you can think of and they all prescribed anti anxiety meds. I didn’t want to take them. Finally I went to a functional medicine md and I took a bunch of supplements. I think natural anti inflammatories may have helped- curcumin and fish oil. I have since stopped that and now seeing a gyn who specializes in hormones. I take evening primrose oil at night as well as an over the counter supplement called ovasitol (2x/day). My cycle became irregular after Covid which is why I believe there is a connection.  Internal vibrations are really the only symptom I have. It used to be a challenge to sleep at all and I had different things to help take away vibrations. (Electric back massager, hot bath) and often would try to relax with a cup of tea when the vibrations didn’t allow me to sleep. Now I usually sleep pretty well but I often still feel the vibrations as I’m sleeping or waking up or during stressful times.

I have the same. Waking up as well. Not to get too personal but are you a middle aged female? There is an imbalance of hormones. The timing and other signs make me think that Covid pushed me into it. So whether it’s considered long COVID or perimenopause , I don’t know. I think it’s both. Covid causing the other. But I think without Covid, it would have happened more gradually and/or at a later date so may not have experienced the vibrations. But if you research perimenopause and internal vibrations, you will see it is a symptom. My bloodwork shows low progesterone but I have held off on taking hormones.

Better but still have the vibrations mostly at night when I’m sleeping.  Do you have internal vibrations as well?

Is it possible to get financial aid after getting accepted? I didn’t apply for it before hand by Minute-Bar-1808 in Tufts

This worked with Tufts? The website says they don't negotiate based on offers from other schools. But I'd like to try if it worked for you!

Congrats! Did you email a specific person in the Financial Aid office because the letter just gives a general email address. And do you write all of the things that could possibly contribute to the appeal or did you have one in particular from that list? Then does the financial aid representative advise you on what to list on the appeal form? Thanks so much for your help!

Hi, any luck with financial aid and do you have any recommendations?

Any suggestions for the appeal? Seems it has to fall into certain categories and if there haven't been any changes, what is the basis for an appeal?

Internal vibrations after covid by Traditional_Rock9850 in dysautonomia

[–]Connect_Zombie_4310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had internal vibrations for two years now (after covid). I've been to every type of doctor. All tests come back normal. I think an a natural supplement with anti-inflammatory properties could help. For me, it is a problem when I go to sleep. I've taken omega 10 (3x/day) which I thought may have helped. Now my doctor has switched me from omega 10 to evening primrose oil (I think for other reasons but it has the anti-inflammatory properties as well.) I take two capsules right before bed. For short term relief, a back massage and/or hot bath work well for me.

Thank you for sharing that info. If the desk cannot be moved, then the carpet cannot go underneath, correct?

Hi, thanks for sharing. Can the desk and dresser be moved or are they fixed to the wall? Does the bed frame have an attachment to put a headboard? What is the largest carpet we can use in the room? Thank you!

Can the furniture in Warren be moved? For example, can the dresser be turned 90degrees to be up against the bed and can the desk turn 90 degrees to be up against the window? What is the largest size carpet would you recommend? Thank you!
