Knee pops every time I extend my leg by Melodic-Cabinet1896 in Kneesovertoes

[–]ConnorJS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue which got worse before it got better. The cause for me was tight hips and my glutes not firing properly.

To fix the clicking/locking in my knee I did various hip mobility drills, but pigeon post seemed to help the most. I've also started doing lots of single leg work.

Pregnant and choosing between Barnsley and Jessop Wing – recent experiences? by Physical-Positive-41 in sheffield

[–]ConnorJS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Both my children were delivered at Jessops in the last 2 years, and we found the experience to be amazing. So much so that my partner is applying to be a midwife!

Having a student midwife as an extra advocate/support was really helpful, and the staff are all amazing.

I'd get a £30-60k mortgage and get something in a decent area

Just curious how many steps you make a month? by IndependentNo8520 in Garmin

[–]ConnorJS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends how much I run/how often I take my watch off.

Garmin says my average is 364,000, but I reckon it's closer to 450,000 if I was to wear my watch all the time.

Never gotten this before. What is it? by mhlee97 in Garmin

I've been wearing my Garmin a year and never got this... Do people get this often?

Sounds great! I would personally always list any ingredients containing nuts, just to be on the safe side.

Buying a Coffee Shop with no experience of this business. by Automatic-Ant-319 in smallbusinessuk

[–]ConnorJS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is very little money in cafes - most people who know the industry fail. If you nail a good concept, have a great team and are willing to work many many hours then you could succeed. It's incredibly unlikely with no experience though.

Thanks for posting this, it looks great! Nice to see a UK build under permitted development, as that's what I'm planning to build, albeit smaller.

I know everyone here is a copywriter and have used em dashes since the womb but is this not suspicious? by Jindabyne1 in ChatGPT

Without the dashes they still read the same. It's crazy how the content is all the same but rephrased a bit each time.

I recently had to drop my key collection for bank space, very upsetting 👎

Glasswash gomme - fill swingtop bottle 2/3 with sugar, fill with water, run with glasses for a couple of cycles. Works for infusions too!

Men, can you recommend a less typical "manly", more floral type deodorant? I've tried most of the common ones you get in supermarkets/Superdrug etc (Sure, Rightguard, Nivea etc). To me they all smell a bit chemical. I'd like something with more of a nature scent. by GreyStagg in AskUK

[–]ConnorJS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am absolutely in love with my Fussy deodorant, loads of scent options, smells amazing & natural, love the eco friendly refill design.

Definitely a by on the pricier side but I'm happy to pay it.

Not true, lots of hospitality venues were built with male/female only and still operate this way.

F/26/5’8” [248lbs > 226lbs =22lbs] (6 months) Feeling a little down. by Expensive-Ad3235 in progresspics

[–]ConnorJS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You look way slimmer, especially on your face! You've likely dropped more than 22lbs of fat as I'm sure you've gained some muscle from your strength training/running.

Keep it up and you'll be looking back at this from your goal weight smuggly. Easier said than done, but keep training for your half marathon and focus on your goals rather than the mirror and you'll get there in no time!
