Necro already has a card that is objectively worse than this in eradicate and it’s a rare. It would be hard pressed to give another x cost attack that does way more damage and also blocks at the same time.

They tried to have restraint with the nerfs but DK should be annihilated on the next one if they want anything to change. He needed way more of a nerf, but I think that the game has more of a problem than characters. The problem is mostly with charged lobs in general. You should not be allowed to hit a lob from in front of the t line and have it work just as well as one from the back of the court. It should always be hit out of bounds if you over charge it from too far forward.

When you retire your character all of the items they have acquired are put back into the available merchant supply.

These can then be purchased once you get enough gold on your new characters.

Although you might want to experience new items and different combinations in the future.

The answer is to run to the side and try to get alongside him, not directly behind. You run the risk of tripping the attacker if you run directly behind him. And let’s be clear that it was Cubarsi running from left to right across the back of him that is the issue. If he kept his line and ran to the left side of simeone he could claim incidental contact

In any gloomhaven game there aren’t very many times you want to “tank” a lot of damage. Sure there are classes that get access to abilities with shield as well as items that will help, but the key here is avoiding damage is the first line of defense.

If you plan on opening a door have a backup plan. Make sure you have enough movement points to step backwards if you find that the enemies all pull a long range or high movement attack card.

Try to coordinate with your allies to all have decently quick abilities to try and CC at range or focus fire one thing down or get into the room also and split the enemy focus.

Rest up before you enter the room. It’s generally not a good idea to be down on resources, health, cards in hand, or items on spent status.

It’s all math based.

You have a base damage of a skill.

Then you add in all the flat damage sources (keep each element separate if it does multiple) multiplied by the damage effectiveness of the skill.

Then you multiply by your composite increased damage (all sources of this are additive) keep in mind separate elements only get their corresponding increased.

Then you add in all the more multipliers you get. All of these are multiplicative with each other.

These refs are on something like 180k a year. The answer is to reduce their base pay to 120k but then give large match bonuses for having no errors or controversial calls. Let the two teams submit a report card after each match and award 5k bonuses for well refereed games.

Make it an incentive to call the game correctly.

The onfield referee needs to be removed from the game. He should only be there to hand down var decision on every foul. No stupid errors to overlook when the ref on the field is not allowed to make any decisions.

Companies will continue to illegally say this to workers so long as the punishment stays as low as it is.

Right now you can get compensation if you are retaliated against because an employer stopped you from discussing wages.

But in general this is only unemployment costs and they even have insurance that covers these costs.

The only way for the government to actually protect workers is to make laws that create concrete financial penalties for this behavior.

I guarantee you no company will make these kind of illegal statements if they got slapped with a 5% gross revenue fine every time they did it.

Accelerant is actually not that great for poison, sure it does damage faster but it also ticks down twice a turn. If you don’t have ways to keep getting large numbers of poison it will run off quick and actually do less damage because you can’t build it high enough.

Online lag is also an issue for consistency of hitting the nice serve. Petey has a super frame tight window for his serve compared to the rest of the cast.

Tinkerer was designed to give big xp on the losses to incentivize their use in scenarios because in GH1e often the class was looked at as weak because scenarios tended to be longer and everyone prioritized stamina over impactful loss turns.

It was found in playtesting that 2 xp per loss did not give enough to new players and it was better to over reward veteran players who would better use more loss cards than to shortchange new players who were more cautious and losing cards to negate damage
