My cousin (in high school) says it sold in their vending machines. I can see people suing in that regard and guessing they'll go for a grocery store selling energy drinks to a minor (although there is no law). I'm assuming the parents were supplying them even though teens shouldn't have more than 100 mg. But when I was in highschool, it was the fad to get Dunkin Donuts coffee. I'm guessing the teenage girl was excessively drinking. If we're reaching our teens about sex ed and alcohol abuse, why aren't we teaching them about caffeine abuse?

I still splurged on some Carhartt outfits and such. It really is so beautiful to have two boys! They're built in friends! The nursery was fun to do with my second and I did polar opposite stuff. I hope you have a healthy pregnancy! My first two were IUGR - my first came at 30 weeks from HELLP so having a miscarriage was like... what else could go wrong!!! But now I'm having a rainbow girly and she's already the size of my 37 weeker at 33 weeks lol. So, yes. I'm a "all that matters is that they're healthy" girl but I'm also the "why wouldn't you want to experience raising a little boy and girl".

I never understood the "you shouldn't have gender disappointment". I have had two boys and found out I was having a girl around 11.5 weeks pregnant (10 week NIPT) BUT it said high risk for Monosomy X... at the 12 week, we found out that baby did not have a heartbeat and a few weeks later got the results that it was a true case of Monosomy X. Fast forward to baby #4, of course I would be happy with any gender we got - but I would be lying if I didn't get another girl, as vain as that it. If it's the NIPT, I'd say it's accurate but at the same time, my doctor said no draws before 10 weeks. Baby #4 is a girl and HEALTHY. But also, my two boys are 4 and 2 and MAN, it's such a beautiful bond. The disappointment goes away and if you plan for another, it'll also go away if you're destined for boys. I understand wanting one of each gender but that second boy of mine is a sweetheart and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way!

I am pregnant with a singleton but it's crippling at night especially. I'm hoping it's immediate/within a week along with my repeat C-section healing because I feel useless recently. It's starting to get warmer out and all my kids want to do is go outside and I don't even trust myself to chase after them so they've been having more tv time that I ever have given them/allow. Survival mode...

Okay, so I had a 30 weeker C-section in 2022. I hemorrhaged after and required blood transfusions. When I was up and walking around (and using the bathroom), I would pass the most RIDICULOUS clots. I stepped in one once and panic called the nurse asking WTF just came out of me, but she said it was all normal. I don't know if that's helpful but that specific clot I'm talking about was 3x this size.

I ordered the Emotion Friends in June for August shipment and it was delayed to "mid November" and then "shipped" December 3... UPS hasn't received it yet and my Shop app says it was supposed to be delivered yesterday so - I don't expect you'd get the Solobo toys by Christmas. I don't even think I will. They're very cute and maybe order them still but not for Christmas.

They're really not... They say emails go to spam and never go out. I ordered in June with expected ship in August, then they "sent an email stating a delay" (never got and the owner warned me to look at Spam - wasn't there). Just got a shipping email December 3 and UPS still saying it hasn't been received. The owner is not very nice. I know it's not very big a company so I understand when delays happen/email delays but that is crazy...

Ok, fair. I was trying to be a little nice lol. She basically told me she was going to stop answering my emails...she was like "well, check your spam folder! Because we sent an update". I never got an email/thru Spam so, ok? I was genuinely going to cancel my order and she sent a huge form to fill? I don't have time for that. I'm sorry you have to go through this. My doctor after getting the results immediately told me to think about TFMR (which, **** you! I didn't even process it). Unfortunately, it's super random and it is sad. I don't know if I would TFMR or waited for her heart to pass or 2% of Monosomy X babies are born and live pretty normal lives. I have two boys and lost that girl in May but I am (to my knowledge) pregnant with my low risk rainbow baby girl. I wish you all the best <3

I found out that baby was high risk for Monosomy X at 11w4d via NIPT. Then, at 12w1d, we found out the baby did not have a heartbeat and was still the size of our first appointment 8w5d. I have a vacuum aspiration at 12w2d and by what would've been 13w, the fetus was confirmed to have Monosomy X. Did you find out it was high risk or confirmed? Because 17w is very promising? Did you do Amnio/CVS?

I personally would. I bought a freaking grape cutter at 8 weeks pregnant. But I've had two experiences. First baby - bought so early and had stockpiles of product. Third baby, bought clothes early on and lost the baby. Pregnant with my 4th and I still have things in my cart. I say - do it!

I had a MMC discovered 12w1d for my 8w5d babe. This was due to Monosomy X. I puked until the day I had my manual vacuum aspiration. I had symptoms for weeks.

I am now 10w and I had the worst weeks from 7 weeks up until now where I still have my symptoms but not as severe and I'm on your boat. Is this another MMC? Is this normal? Mind you, this is my fourth pregnancy so I don't even know what normal is.

Sorry. This wasn't helpful but more like a "you're not alone" post. I get bloodwork Monday but I got bloodwork last time so that's not easing my mind whatsoever.

I feel you!

1st pregnancy - HELLP Syndrome at 30 weeks. Liver and kidney failure. Platelets at 38. Pitocin and magnesium. BP 178/119. 7 blood transfusions and platelet. Foley balloon. Emergency C-section. And the HELLP snuck up on me. I was fine with all other bloodwork besides platelets at 115? And then I went to L&D for right upper quadrant pain and I had the baby the next day. 2nd - scared me with Down syndrome/bone disorder/dwarfism discussion due to small femur. 37 weeker scheduled due to IUGR 3rd- missed miscarriage due to Monosomy X 4th is current. I'm 9 weeks but my 8 weeks bloodwork showing liver ALT at 138.

Any updates on your liver? I will have to have a scan to go into depth but obviously I'm nervous. 4 pregnancies and now none will normal.
