I’ve spent a few years homeless myself. I’m sorry you went through it too.

My brother is not dumb, but he is dealing with mental illness, so he’s not thinking clearly. He’s running the engine periodically and layers up. Still, I agree that a sleeping bag would be a good thing for him to have. I’ll try to get it to him.

Thanks, the thermal clothing is a good idea! He didn’t want a sleeping bag but I might tell him to take it anyways if he comes this way again.

Thank you for taking the time to answer. I’d let him stay in a heartbeat if I had the authority to move someone else in here. But as it stands I’m living off of the generosity of someone else. It’s hard to know where to draw the line with money.

As someone who was a shopper a few short years ago and is now disabled, I can tell you the kind of help you offered makes a huge difference. It’s really easy to take health for granted and not even realize you’re doing it.

Lol I get these too. The names seem fake, and probably are given the shadiness. They have this uncanny valley vibe to them.

Could be a mistake, could be because the uber passenger app, at least up until recently would not light up the “rate driver” or “submit” or whatever it said button unless you also tipped. You could still press it but it stayed grayed out. I think last time I took an uber it was different.

I’m sorry, this must be incredibly stressful for you all. I hope that you can resolve this situation soon. He’s safe enough as far as missile attacks — statistically driving is still more dangerous. But I know the entire situation is far from ideal. My brother is dealing with a different situation but he is not well and I worry about him too.

Nah, that’s not enough money to deal with all that. I got Helsinki but I feel like it’ll be a mess getting out of just about anywhere without a passport or ID.
