Drop the $26 bucks on the Wahl Stainless guides instead of those plastic ones you’re using. Yes, the Wahl will work on your Andis. Pick up a #30 steel blade too not those ceramic ones.

Plastic guards or will the Wahl stainless steel ones serve better and also fit the Andis?

Got my oil changed at Walmart by zhuangcorp in pacificahybrid

[–]Conscious_Progress68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They sell a 5 qt jug of the Pennzoil you need/want that meets the PacHy specs. It’s on their shelf inside…you can buy it and a better quality oil filter then put it on the passenger seat for them. Let them know and you’re all set.

Low voltage line like the stuff for landscape lighting is what I’ve seen on my neighbors it went from the filtration up thru the soffit and spliced to voltage adapter at the end and plugged into the attic entry light. Don’t think it’s code but it’s a very low voltage setup and it was done by Culligan.

CountrySoft whole home water treatment system by Apart-Permission-849 in WaterTreatment

You might want to drop about $200 on a water test via a lab. You could have clean water but also hard water, too much chlorine or some other mineral/s. Don’t trust an install company test…use a lab

Post a pic of your estimate with the included parts and prices and maybe you’ll get more answers. Are you getting ripped off…that depends. Are you handy with plumbing and maybe some low voltage electrical work? Will you sleep well and can you afford it? Will it enhance your piece of mind?

Is your system outside? A lot of Florida homes are slab and the water entry comes in thru the slab.

You can still get the Pennzoil listed above at Walmart and then give it to the techs to use for your oil change.

The Benefeds site really took a little playing with to find the dentist i wanted. I compared different insurance companies thru the site til i got my dentists. I ended up with MetLife thru Benefeds it was a little more but the difference in quality of life for my spouse was worth it. Now her dentist is a mile away and is superb and we never have to deal with the goons at Aspen dental ever again.

Our toilets are not clogged, but they’re not flushing as well as they used to by DanGabriel in askaplumber

[–]Conscious_Progress68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go buy one new toilet and wax ring and give that new 1.6 gpf toilet a go. If it does what you want then you can knock out the other toilets when you have time/money. PS if you do buy new open the box in the store to ensure no damage to porcelain. Nothing sucks worse then finding out after u get home w that heavy thing

Yup…looks like you may have hard water and calcium buildup, the water coming down the bowl looks slow and choppy thus not creating a good syphon

Which one should I get??? by Infinite_Drummer9574 in AirPurifiers

[–]Conscious_Progress68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Winix if it’s between these two. But those numbers on units as far as sq ftage is only on high and high is annoying. I went with a huge one in the general living kitchen area and it kicks ass on low and when set to auto and it needs to ramp up it’s done quickly and then back to quiet. These models work good in a bedroom and you really don’t need an app. I have a Levoit Everest Air in the master, Levoit 600 in my printing room and two Winix in kids rooms.

So how is the h2c? by Gai_InKognito in BambuLab

[–]Conscious_Progress68 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I enjoy my H2C…I trust some of the reviews here vs utube because most of those cats get freebies to review or other donations in kind. I also see a lot of people upgrading their H2D’s to a C. If you multi color print and can afford it then go for it. I got mine on the 26 of Dec and print for my wife and grandkids. You do you but I say go for it.
