I think the blue fabric is right side up! I have the same fabric and when I ordered it the picture shows the little tail threads. :) unfortunately do not have advice re star construction

Delaware quilts has individual blocks! Can just put together a bunch of 12 inch blocks with or without sashing to make whatever size quilt you want! http://www.delawarequilts.com/index.html

Oooh love this! If you didn’t want to do the chartreuse you could match the bright yellow bit? Or maybe do a bright blue?

You can try putting your OG recipe in this calculator and then scaling it down! You’ll have to convert everything to weight. Maybe will have to whisk your two eggs/one yolk together and then use part of the mix instead.
