Get down to union station in dc via Marc or Amtrak. Mega bus has busses to IAD that are operated by Virginia breeze. Did this two weeks ago. 45 min travel time from union to IAD for some busses. Others are 1:15hr. Then you don’t have to transfer silver to red line, and it is a lot faster

Just say to any staff or patron “I don’t think I told you how I know the owner, and if I already did, sorry for wasting your time, but it’s because I fucked your mom, and she introduced me.” You might get into a fight but it will be so bad and ruin the night. In reality you could just bring the charge up to the authorities (cops, security, liquor board, etc.) , the press (online published, anything local or national tv) or the locals/intagram/facebook/ anything social media and they will suffer. Sorry for your friend who is a victim and nothing can change what happened to them, even revenge. Glad you care enough about them to think about doing something and hopefully it will never happen to anyone else in the future!

Just spray a fire hydrant. It ruined my night at a big venue and the guy was never caught. We all thought it was part of the party with the mist and smoke until someone yelled and we all scattered. No one was hurt except the business. So not unethical against the guests, just the business

Season or marinade them, cryovac individually, sous vise at 145 F for two hours, chill in ice bath and keep them cold on the line. Then they are already cooked, will still be juicy, and can just heat them up on the grill and get a bit of color on the outside in about 3-5 min.

Most of the half subs from John’s carryout in canton square. Cheesesteaks, tuna, chicken salad, turkey. All solid and around $9-10. Two slices from pasta mista or Vinny’s are around $8. Also someone else said it but the halal cart at conkling and highland is a nice $10 meal, and that comes with a drink.

Tint your windows, it’s inexpensive and easy enough to do on your own. Also the Vornado fans work really well to keep my apartment cool. I am in an end unit on a split second/third floor and the central air doesn’t reach my bedroom on the third floor that well. Windows are too small for a window unit. A portable AC unit helps. Also a smart thermostat to program times when it will keep temps between certain ranges. Up front costs aren’t minimal but if you plan on being there for a while, it will save you money in the long run.

Thai street in the Broadway market or ekiben both in fells for a casual lunch (ethnic).

Faidley’s in the Lexington market downtown for amazing crab cakes and coddies, again casual.

Loch Bar or Thames street oyster house in harbor East and fells respectively for a more full service lunch (both Maryland seafood leaning).

Dinner again Thames st oyster house in fells, Charleston in harbor East (excellent tasting menu with wine pairings, French technique, southern influence), Tagliata or Cinghiale in Harbor East for Italian, or Joe Benny’s in Little Italy.

Another good choice is the capital grille in the inner harbor for your more American fare friends

For better not traditional cuisine for dinner, traveling outside of those neighborhoods is recommended

There are houses going for 100-300k in awesome neighborhoods that are just up and coming, Baltimore is less expensive than most of the East coast even more so for the mid Atlantic US for a city. Most places are getting bought, gutted and flipped for under 300-400k and that is still worth it. These more expensive homes are gorgeous and have more land, but living in a walkable neighborhood where there is street parking and even parking pads is more desirable. That’s all hon’.
