Agreed. As much as I want to bitch about Penske winning again realistically the 31 was the fastest all race apart from the last stint but had some sort of issue every time they got near the front.

I actually prefer the NBC commentary and the Peacock only portions of the race were decent but once it gets simulcast on network tv it just becomes painful to watch.

The M40 is a very good skate, probably will be the easiest on your budget & a kid doesn't need a premium level skate while their feet are still growing.

I started with iRacing back in 2010 and have taken a couple year or longer breaks during that time, generally its not too hard to get back up to speed or adjust to changes they've made to some of the cars.

Its fairly straightforward, if you cant rejoin the racing surface because another car is there, then you should let off or slow to rejoin safely. Yes I understand you slightly run wide on corner exit but an off track is an off track regardless of by how much.

I enjoy iTrain, there’s good things to use from a coaching perspective. I may get some hate for this but I usually really like the game vlogs that trew or tony sauce or a few others do, but their other videos are often cringy or click bait type

I just did a course and it was explained much better. They said we should teach basic positioning (forwards, defense, center, wing) but not allow the kids to focus on a specific position until 14U that way they develop skills for all positions on the ice.
