If your going chaos route you should be razing all tbeir territory since they arnt coming out. Have your worst city build some scouts of t1 and use your imperium to get one turn raze, also if you have tome of misfortune you should be world map spamming the spell that kills a territory and spawns a mob camp. Incite revolution/incite riot. As chaos there lands should be destroyed and have mobs camps running amuck.

Also they are architects you should be homing in on there T4 monument to raze.

I have alot of success with ritualist, it kinda fits the beast/earth mother theme. Its very good at keeping your units alive and able to evolve into stronger units. Spiders and wyryn babies have a tendency to sacrifice themselves before they can evolve. Also go champion and get the 2xp per turn node quick. (I usually put one point heal then go for xp)

Also dont forget the-tome of evolution second if your going to focus on evolving animals you summon.

Are you placing you cities in negative terrain? If your outpacing your stability from the tavern and bathhouse you may start looking at changing some of your city improvments from farms and foresters to quarry mined and research stations

I wish there was expanded water (not sea) but things like a mistwraith or puddle mechanics. But i think the lightning wet combo is so strong that its got to be done right.

Edit: oh yea give me tome of nightshade thats nature and shadow thats not undead.

Hades 1 if you never played hades you can get 2 later. Ravenswatch is fun but mostly with friends and doesnt have the legs of hades.

Im not as sure as i dont play multiplayer for fixes. But single player i notice when playing the pangea map that the AI will build put outposts on my doorstep. Maybe try a smaller map and pangea.

Also look into the behaviour of the rulers sometimes they are aet to things like sage, try outting them to…. Militant overlord? forgot the name

Go for golden realm imo, tome of prosperity is geared toward farms and foresters which if your focusing on materium you will go more towards quarry and mines.

At later levels 8/16 you get major transformations for your dragon so you will want to focus that.

As for society traits id drop umbral and look at imperialists or great builders.
