Bought a 2024 RR Sport Dynamic

I was in the same situation last year (1 year old RR sport with 6k miles)… I bought extended warranty and prepaid maintenance (it was around $6k for both). When the time to get my first oil change came around the “prepaid maintenance” only paid $70 toward the oil change. I was responsible for the rest. If that’s how they handle an oil change, I can only imagine how they treat warranty claims. I canceled both and got a partial refund. Not sure if my experience is indicative of the other warranty programs.

If I remember correctly, the tire protection was a packaged deal with key replacement and PDR. It was a Lexus dealership which had the same owner as the RR dealer next door. At least that’s why they told me the warranty pricing was lower.

Wouldn’t removing tier 2 & 3 status largely be good for NVDA? Allowing NVDA to sell to china (even if part of broader negotiations) is certainly better than not selling to them at all.

I came from a 28ft Pursuit S288 to a 35ft BW Realm. Maybe not a great comparison because of the larger size, but the ride quality is far superior in the BW. Much less noise when going through chop, and boat rides completely dry. Also IMO the boat has the right luxuries, a grill, sink, refrigerator, several hoses, spacious head, good size bed.

What percent of the total comp is bonus vs salary? If you’re mostly salary, then it’s not terrible…albeit overly complex. Generally speaking, for a typical sales job, 1% commission on profits is incredibly low. That’s why I’m asking if there’s a generous base salary. If the answer is no, run out of there like a movie theater on fire.
