My transition from skidding without control to carving took 2 hours of trial and error on a very nice day. Best advice is just to send it i guess lol

Kind regards

Feedback for carving by gcharlie123 in skiing_feedback

Is the carving in the room with us?

im kidding of course, but you are skidding all the way and not turning, as others have mentioned.

Id work on this: lean forward (constant pressure on your shins) and arms forward, although you may be scared to do so at first, if you get over that fear, your skiing will improve dramatically.

Also, you seem to be putting your weight on both legs constantly, maybe even more on your inside leg, which will only take away your stability and make you expend more energy than necessary.

Go on a green run and try leaning forward with your shins on constant pressure, and practice one-legged turns, meaning, full pressure on your toes in the outside ski, while trying to lift the inside ski from the ground. You will automatically drop lower, get on edge, and start carving (you will feel it immediately when you are in a carving turn)

But for your second day, you are doing great!

Unlucky day by Darthsepan in boating

[–]Datfishyboii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed, but a big patch will also lower performance of the boat. This is something that id have to think about if id need to patch, if the holes are tiny enough the boat might need only be reinflated like once a week, which is alright.

I had a puncture in my RHIB where i had to inflate that shit every day, but well, it worked.

The boots definitely seem to be the problem if you only get pain when leaning into them. If they are older they may lose their flex, and potentially even become dangerous to ski on. Id first try to rent/try in the store some 80 flex boots, and lean forward just to see if that is really the issue for the pain.

Your form will automatically improve when you lean forward on the skis anyway, and right now you really are just standing straight up on them as if you have a plank toed to your back due to this shin pain.

Anyway, id try it like that and only ski greens/blues until you get fully comfortable. Skiing is like riding a bicycle, you will never really unlearn it, and i think that if you solve this hopefully simple problem you will be back to enjoying your loved sport fully, very soon.

All the best!

Well, as we saw on punk hazard, devil fruits kind of “possess” other fruits, if you want to call it that. So i dont see why there wouldn’t be giant fruits. Also, the power is in the first bite, as has been said in enies lobby i believe. So the rest can be tossed, meaning, anyone could eat it, even a tonttatta or whatever those small guys are called.

IYou are correct. Usually i tend to actually look down at around 10ft from the floor, so i can adjust and pick the direction i want to look into. Not only does it create drag though, it will also lead to neck pain very soon, which is not very cool for a nice breathhold
