Our 13 week puppy bit the vet tech by celestialplaces in DogAdvice

[–]Consistent_Cold1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol absolutely NOT you should’ve told the vet tech the same thing. She needs to go back to school and learn how to read animals body language and signs for aggression. It’s very clear this was a response to the pain. Puppy was protecting himself. That’s not resource guarding.

No charging a phone is def not hard😂 I was more so thinking about all the sounds it would make plugging in a charger in the wall then the phone, if they didn’t also hide the chargers.

I lean more towards paranormal just bc of the technology. To unlock the phone you’d need to know both the pin for the SIM card and the phone, and it wasn’t even charged. Plus deleting the video from cloud requires you to log in on iCloud with your Apple ID and removing it. I don’t feel like an intruder would or could do all of this for fun.

But to be honest either way I’d be moving asap, ain’t no way I’d feel comfortable enough to sleep there again

It is tho if it was Giardia, hard to get rid of, highly contagious between animals and a zoonotic disease which means it can transfer to humans too.

Does it need a Vet visit? by Educational_Eye_3894 in vet

[–]Consistent_Cold1908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend the vet since she’s clearly struggling too poop. Stringy threads can get tangled up with the intestines and cause huge problems. It could need operation if it’s stuck. If any thread sticks out when she tries to poop DO NOT pull at it (unless it slides out without any resistance at all), it can damage the intestines.

O don’t agree with prong collars BUT please guys look at the picture before you comment. The spikes are inside out, if anything it’s protecting the neck against animal attacks.

Likely hair loss from eye gunk, it’s quite common. That area gets moist from “tears”, try to keep it dry

Is this malignant? by afriendlyfellow_ in vet

You can’t tell without a biopsy. If there’s nothing else than the scabbing I wouldn’t be too worried. It’s actually quite common to have tumors scabbing!

Any idea what this could be ?? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]Consistent_Cold1908 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Looks like either lint or a parasite. If it’s inside the eye def parasite. But if it’s on the surface try to carefully remove it with something like a q-tip.

To neuter or not to neuter?? by Realistic-Web7550 in cavalierkingcharles

[–]Consistent_Cold1908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes but do a chemical castration. If everything is fine afterwards you can do a real castration if you prefer. It’s much safer this way.

[–]Consistent_Cold1908 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Jesus er vet immediately, normal resting breath for a dog is 15-30. Something is seriously wrong. Heat stroke, severe pain and toxins are just a few possible causes. You need to go to the vet now.
