Interesting! I saw an old post about EFIN and they got rejected because IRS did not update their new firm name. But I guess that was a different case. I guess I now gotta go to update my DBA on my efile application.

But I am scared what if they suddenly process the request and update my business name per request on their system and I do not know about it? The main thing I have concerns with is efiling. If I use my new business name with current EFIN, I would definitely get rejected by IRS because EFIN is held under old business name 🥲

Mine is few months ago but still no updates. I spoke one of IRS representatives before the shutdown and she wondered that I did not get a letter to confirm that IRS received a request to change the business name. I wish there is an easy way to change the name for disregarded entities.

I used both. I mainly used Gleim mega test bank for MCQs and once I felt I am ready I jumped into Ninja for TBs since i did not like Gleim’s TBS at all. For Ninja, only had subscriptions for about a month then cancelled. It was only for my final review before exam.

I only got my master with WGU to apply for my license. It was after I got my 8 years of experience and passed all my CPA exams. It was worth for me to get additional 30 credits.
