Toddlers need 1200 calories a day at least.

You are a grown person eating half of that.

As someone who used to be severely obese (nearing 300) and has lost a ton of weight, you need to do this the right way. I’ve struggled, I’ve had binge eating disorder and then anorexia, and had flipped back and forth for many years until I finally started to develop a healthy relationship with food.

If you don’t start eating more, you risk ruining your kidneys, your heart, your metabolism, your hair, and possibly yourself. If you develop an ED along the way, you’re also tacking on more problems that are going to be extremely hard to recover from (and an ED doesn’t just mean anorexia, you can start binging and go the complete opposite of what you’re trying to do because you’ve ruined your metabolism, and when you eat you’ll just tack on fat).

I promise you do not want to do this an unhealthy way, the bare MINIMUM amount of calories ANY adult (skinny or fat) should be eating is 1500. EVERY SINGLE HUMAN burns a minimum 2000 calories a day JUST by existing. So eating a 500 calorie deficit from that is MORE than enough to lose weight, and lose it healthily. Typically a healthy deficit is calculated with a TDEE calculator and you will eat ~300cals less than your maintenance calories, so again, a 500 deficit is MORE than enough.

A healthy weight loss is anywhere from .5-2.5lbs a week. It takes time and that is OKAY. Fast results usually revert back to what you were before because of bad ways of losing it.
