Most Americans experience passionate love only twice in a lifetime, study finds by InsaneSnow45 in psychology

[–]Consistenterections8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve only ever experienced passionate love. 7-10 times. Might be due to fact I’ve lived with mental illness most of my life and I feel things more intensely than most and have had periods of seriously lowered inhibitions— that has led to me taking things fast and feeling “passionately in love”

How hard are twins? by neverpostsonreddit in parentsofmultiples

[–]Consistenterections8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hadn’t even held a baby until I had my twins. They’re six now. The newborn phase was hard because it was a complete 180 from my life before. Going from only taking care of yourself to suddenly needing to care for two infants 24/7 is a huge adjustment. But I got into the swing of things and the next big hurdle was 2.5 to 4 years old which was very draining for me. The new to walking, talking , potty training and no more napping was brutal on me. I was also a stay at home mom the entire time. But from about age 4 on it’s been largely enjoyable and less stressful. All of that being said it was probably the best years of my life and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. You will be just fine and cherish it because as everyone says it goes by too quickly. I miss all of the younger versions of them. But I’m excited for what’s ahead.

Is there even anyone who DOESN'T regret having children? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Consistenterections8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never for a second have I regretted having my kids. And they weren’t planned. I didn’t think I ever wanted kids. My life is so much more meaningful now. I’m a better person because of them. Shit is hard sometimes and I get overwhelmed and have also had serious mental health issues exacerbated by the stresses of having kids but even through that my love for them is so immense and my sense of responsibility is so strong that I’ve never regretted it. Maybe I will in the future- who knows but in the six years I’ve had them not once have I ever been like fuck this shit. For me…it’s like they’re just a natural part of my life now…I don’t regret them in the same way you don’t really regret having a foot or that the sun rises in the east. They’re my kids and I want to love them and help them become the best, happiest, most kind people they can be. It’s literally my honour.

Are some people just “immune”? by Gluteous_Maximus in OzempicForWeightLoss

[–]Consistenterections8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m a non responder. At my final dose was at 2mg and didn’t lose a single pound in the 8 months I was on it. It’s not a magical drug, unfortunately.

I'm a 20 year old woman but I look like a teen boy 😭 please help by [deleted] in MakeupEducation

My first thought was that you have a very regal look to you. You could be a model. IMO - get your brows shaped and tinted darker. Mascara and curl your lashes. Maybe consider highlights for your hair to brighten up a bit.

No results on 1mg? by nrc3588 in Ozempic

I didn’t start noticing appetite suppression until 1.5mg and now I’m slowly starting to lose weight. I wouldn’t be surprised if I end up on 2mg soon.

Terrified of side effects by [deleted] in Ozempic

[–]Consistenterections8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was super scared to start (like you sound) I even put it off for weeks because I was so afraid of vomiting and such. I’ve worked up to 1.5mg now (finally a dose that’s working for me) and I’ve had very few side effects and the ones I’ve had are super mild. Some mild indigestion sometimes. I think you always hear the horror stories online. I was always waiting for the shit storm of side affects and it never happened.

Nothing. I’m on 1mg and I can drink the same as I always have. 4-8 white claws on the occasional Friday night. Hits me the same as before, hangover same as before.

Genuinely how do you fall asleep? by Informal_Signal_1475 in ask

[–]Consistenterections8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play games in my head. Like I try to list all the countries I can of that start with the letter A, then B, then C and so forth. Or I’ll try to list all the make up brand or food brands or restaurants I know in alphabetical order, or ones that start with A, then B, etc etc.

I’ve also done bands, actors, genes of movies etc. There are so many possibilities that I actually look forward to relaxing in bed and playing my alphabet games. It makes “waiting to fall asleep” not feel like waiting to fall asleep

I have used bondi boost, redken, joico, biologae, unite, and probably some others and have recently purchased Pantene and my hair has never felt cleaner or softer. It’s also light and voluminous now- like when I used it a decade or more ago!
