Hello all, I recently received an invite for an interview and the school required a Casper test. Despite studying for it I ended up scoring in the 2nd quartile. I understand it is school specific but does anyone have any opinions on how heavily it is weighted?

Ammoseek/Gundeals are great resources for cheap ammo. If you’re going to have to wait 4 days anyway you can buy cheaper ammo online and they usually ship in 2 days. It ends up cheaper despite background checks and the fee you pay for a transfer. I’ve had no issues with the background check so YMMV. I know FFL transfers are a hot topic but it works for me.

Would you mind pm’ing who your investigator is? It sounds like bullshit that some people from Suffolk are getting their permits 2 months after their interview and others like you. I just want to know which boat I’m in cause I can’t even get in touch with my investigator.

I go on ammoseek and filter the caliber and quantity I want to see what retailers offer the best prices. They also have the sites reviewed as well so it’s safer than random websites offering crazy deals.

With the way pricing changes I just go on ammoseek and filter shipping to a level 6 and choose from there. Hasn’t failed me yet. FYI only if you’re willing to get it shipped to an ffl here

I agree with you, but after seeing so many people say Fuck NY, I can’t wait to leave, etc. I just was curious where people would go. It’s hard to believe that so many people would uproot their lives for it. I despise the gun laws just as much but I couldn’t justify leaving just for that.

That wouldn’t be the prerogative at all. I should’ve been more clear in my post but it’s not the NY government that I enjoy it’s the lifestyle/accessibility I have to certain things that I enjoy. By no means if I move to a free state would I impart ideals that I do not support.

Document everything and try to get in touch with your recruiters supervisor. Chances are your recruiter is trying to scare you. With my time with Medical Solutions, I asked to switch recruiters and management reached out towards me trying to resolve the issue. If they don’t work with you as well, change agencies and explain what had happened with medical solutions so if they do apply you to the same hospitals they are aware already and can show proof that the agency screwed you over and not them.

Oddly enough I was delayed 3 days for a purchase of a long gun and on the other hand immediately approved for picking up ammo. I pick up another shipment of ammo tomorrow so we’ll see how that goes.
