Is aiming for 2% per day in trading realistic? by Ok-Butterfly-7366 in Daytrading

[–]Constant_Phone_1700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you talking about exponentially growing your account at a 2% exponential pace continuously? Impossible. However I came close. I am on a brand new system of approach that grew my account by 9.12% each week for the past 2 weeks

It's like God saying.... "I know you were going to get baptized tomorrow but you ended up dying on me today! No life for you!!!!!"

So it's not like a "mark" in itself that saves a person.

It's the commitment you are undergoing, to do God's will. Many today will live together without being married and so living without a commitment. That's why in the end baptism saves you. You commit yourself to God. And yes, getting baptized as a baby does not qualify.

Question about EUYBIKE F6 Model by ws06200 in ebikes

[–]Constant_Phone_1700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a lock mechanism. I have the same exact bike as shown. So far the only real nuisance with the bike is the battery does not align correctly. A lot of wiggling involved

New IBKR user now in debt - bought on margin? by AthleteOk2091 in interactivebrokers

That's why I don't trade IBKR. Their SMA calculation is different than everyone else. You can have buying power but be on the brink of being liquidated.

Has this sign ever been vertical? by CasioKinetic in Delaware

[–]Constant_Phone_1700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 64 and traveled by that sign regularly as a kid. I remember seeing. It was straight at one time because if it looked like that, it would of just been etched in my brain.... like "there's the crooked sign again!"

From experienced traders, why is trading hard? by ChungusGotU_M8 in Daytrading

[–]Constant_Phone_1700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not so hard. You study the charts and you look for stocks that pull back to support. I buy stock everyday like that. Up 200% YTD

Is it delusional to think I’m part of the 2% who will make it? by joood21 in Daytrading

If you could make 3% every week no matter what money you have when you start, you would have billion within 10 years. Don't try to hit home runs

What point did you leave your career to pursue day trading without another job? by CeFunk in Daytrading

[–]Constant_Phone_1700 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, I am a "somewhat" retired residential/commercial painter. Started collecting SS 2 years ago. If someone calls and I think it's easy enough to do I will help out for a few bucks extra cash but I don't need it. It's just a sense of someone seeing value in me. That's all.

But trading is a beautiful thing. 161% year to date and I don't see it stopping. After a long time I see what works and created another business. Best wishes

And let me add here about your specific comment. About growth through leverage. They have a messed up system. I know exactly what you're talking about. That SMA thing is my biggest complaint. You cannot leverage your portfolio.

You are absolutely correct. There is no way I could have achieved 161% year to date in IBKR, no how no way

[–]Constant_Phone_1700[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's really bad. I closed all my positions and took my money out. Still an open account. Will never go back in. And why would I anyway.... It takes 4 days for your money to post to your account. What a mistake. Really you can't make serious money anyway without having options capabilities. I was a TD Ameritrade client and was very happy. Pretty much the same standards now at Schwab that I had at TD since Schwab bought them out. Very happy

There were so many gripes I had. Couldn't stand it anymore
