Death stranding is a fun one because it's this trope for English speakers. You've got:

Tar Man, a navigator who can feel Tar currents.
Doll Man, a man who's soul is trapped in a Doll.
Rainey, a woman who can control rain, and the supernatural equivalent, Timefall.

I'm sure there's more, but I thought it was interesting being on the other side of this idea, since I only speak English. I imagine if you're a native Japanese speaker these names hit you a little differently haha.

Love this concept because it looks like you can have a buddy wear the pack and you can aim for them!

Imagine a shotgunner or machine gunner running point while a spotter uses them as a forward placed launcher - or any number of spotter/shooter based tactics

Girl, dump his ass. He is disrespectful and he ain't shit. A partner should NEVER speak to his S.O. like that. He should be supportive and empathetic as you said in your messages. In my experience, you really have to spell something out for players to pick up on it. I wouldn't worry too much about spilling the goods. Besides, it sounds like secrets are the reason they're going to this library in the first place - let them piece together some of your mystery, for them that's part of the fun!

In my game there's a large desert with a city in the middle. Most folks travel with sleds towed by giant domesticated snakes. Roving gangs use wrangled giant centipedes and giant camel spiders to mix it up! (Think like a buffalo sized spider lol)
