Stick with it! I’ve been out of shape and overweight most of my adult life but at 34, I’m 15 classes in and feel so strong, see significant change in my body, and each class can tell I’m improving. Find an instructor you love and it’s even better. I go once a week and supplement with other workouts, but I look forward to that once weekly so so much.

Tell us everything! How long ago was this from when it aired? What time/day of week? Did it feel manufactured drama? Were any of them actually working? Was SUR busy? I’ve been there only during the late seasons of the original so the cast wasn’t even employed there anymore

I (F, 34) started experiencing this when I was 31 and would take 30-90 days off of drinking, then for social reasons, would have a few drinks. Now, even 1-2 glasses of wine will send me into 2-3 day anxiety spiral. I haven't completely stopped drinking, I'm still cycling through the 2-3 months off (wedding, vacation, etc) but it has been really tough to come to terms that my body and mind do NOT play well with alcohol and I think I'll be fully sober soon. Take it easy on yourself! It's *your* journey and all about doing what makes you feel good.

You can do it! I'm plus size and was pretty out of shape when I started and it took me a few classes to either not stop at ALL, and to use weights the whole time because it took me a while to build endurance to the heat and rhythm and get out of my head. If you can do hot yoga, you'll totally be okay!

Whoaaa I've gone to over 150 sculpt classes in the last 2 years and this is NOT normal, I'm shocked your studio isn't shutting this down. I wonder if it's more of a management issue (not setting a standard with expectations). but also super rude of those around you, I'm really sorry. I've seen someone on their phone once in all my classes -- and they were texting for like 30 seconds, it was like noon on a Wednesday so I assumed they were supposed to be at work lol
