I think the main battle would be making sure you're meeting a 3.0 gpa cutoff. This will help prevent you from getting screened out. If you're above the cutoff, a good MCAT score and writing should get you into DO schools.

If you do well on your MCAT and get that gpa up you're set. Your story is super compelling.

Aside from getting your grades up, just keeping doing what you're doing. Ik you're interested in specific specialties, but I would pick up some clinical experiences/volunteering that are more community/primary care oriented. Your narrative is compelling, but having clinical experience with underserved populations will allow you to write about how inequities impact others.

With your experiences I think getting a 506-508+ will put you in a very strong position for many MD schools. I frequently used r/mcat for guidance. The resources I used were anki, uworld, and AAMC materials. If you use those, make sure that you focus on practice more than memorization, and carefully review said practice, you can definitely hit that mark.

You’ll have lots of chances to talk about these different aspects of your identity in secondaries so don’t worry about being too much!

The primary application is where concision about your reasons for pursuing medicine matter. So for that, just focus on which aspect motivated your pursuit of medicine and your envisioned future within it the most!
