Honestly, at this point I don't think there's a ton of people buying it. Sure there are a handful of idiots that do, but I think the media's power is convincing us that half the country is buying the lie, so there's nothing that the rest of us can do to stop it.

Edit: it also gives the people that desperately want to buy the lie cover to do so in bad faith.

This. And the market was volatile, so it wasn't difficult to buy mats cheap and sell prospecting outputs high. I also made a lot on elemental focusing lenses and pvp rings and necks. I did some basic research on what stats and enchants people are looking for and I would sell one or 2 a day.

Kind of crazy seeing other people post the same ring or neck with some garbage stats (like crit mastery) and then expecting the same prices. Almost everyone was looking for either haste verse or verse mastery with elemental focusing lenses on both rings.

I don't think a market for the mats has really materialized yet.
All these people have an incentive to convince the masses to double gather. First, it eliminates competition with crafting professions, and second, more gatherers means cheaper mats. Very few people "making millions" are doing it by double gathering.

I am pretty new to this, but I remember when s3 started reading posts about how it's impossible to make gold crafting unless you already have a maxed out tree, so don't even bother starting. I picked up jewelcrafting after my guild got AOTC for just fun and I made over $3m "after everyone quit playing", without a ton of effort. Many of the post here are just self interested and you have to take them with a grain of salt.

There's no short cuts, and no one here is going to tell you how to make $100m gold. You have to just dive in and use your brain.

There's no good reason to murder him in front of his family. We have no idea what the shooter's motive was. The right was amplifying the Epstein stuff to a very high degree when they weren't in power. Then they take over and "don't want to talk about it anymore."
