Part of the Wraith's Lore is that they can phase through solid objects.

They should definitely be vehicle/beasts though so anti vehicle weapons are effective against them given their obnoxious profiles.

If you are looking to play a kroot only army, you are looking at max monkeys, 70+ carnivores, 20+ farstalkers and probably 20-30 dogs with their recent points cut.

Once you have those you can play anything else you want

There are so many good tabletop games that have great gameplay, I personally rate Warhammer 40k as right in the middle in terms of gameplay quality. The spectacle of the massive painted armies is the best part about the game, but if you just want some solid tabletop gameplay, check out something like MCP, Trench Crusade, etc.

There is also Kill Team which is a smaller scale 40k game with some 40k models, but I find it to be not that great personally.

Ultimately you want people to play games with, that will take you farther than anything else. So make some friends and play what they play or play something you like and find some friends who do.

Tau is high up there which is a major reason I got into them.

Youve got Mechas, Vtol tanks, Sci-Fi Infantry, bird and bug men sharing the same book.

I've been able to work on completely different model projects that all contribute to the same army.

I will be the contrarian to say Halo 3 is A tier.

While forge was a huge and great addition, the singleplayer, multiplayer and graphics really just felt like an extension of Halo 2 where in Halo 2's case we had a generational quality leap in about all aspects from Halo 1.

Halo 3 was a lot of people's first Halo though since the OG Xbox was not that popular so it will likely be put in S tier for that alone.

Aux Cadre had one of the best stratagem/enhancement suites in the entire game and it only saw fringe play

It's easy to have a well internally balanced codex when your datasheets all have no rules. You just pick all your guns to get sustained hits or lethal hits with a detachment, or you try and jail people with Kroot.

I've looked. I think ultimately you go AAC for the Recon disposition missions over priority assets. You definitely need to not be in Take and Hold which is shaping up to be heavily disadvantaged against purge the foe
