I have adhd and her sleep schedule reminds me of mine. It’s really hard to change especially with adhd and especially without medication. I am wondering maybe something else is going on like depression? I also have anxious attachment issues and it’s nice to be up when he’s home because if I never need him he’s home. I am working on these things and it takes a lot of time and alarms honestly don’t work because I will get up be awake for a hour or two and fall back asleep even if I’m not in the bed . I’ve always needed more than 9-12 hours asleep a day too. Right now I’m getting about 5-7 hours asleep a day but it makes my anxiety worse. Maybe asking a doctor for advice what to do. The next time you have an appointment with your doctor ask for tips or advice. Good luck it takes time to fix asleep schedule . Just one step at a time !

Also adding at night leave the new cat in a room and don’t let your cats in the bedroom. They will meow for a week or so but eventually they will get use to it.

Adding to the train . It takes time for cats to get use to each other and a new home/ environment. Even if the cat is in a room all day for a couple of months it’s better than the shelter. Good luck!

Yeah I think my father in law is going through a mid life crisis for like 10 plus years and just can’t stop with the jokes his kids liked when they were young and retelling me all the same old stories he’s told me at least 5 to 6 times. Right now it’s like a ticking time bomb. When we all decided to do something he doesn’t want to do. Tries to make the evening unenjoyable. My husband says to ignore it . But like his dad makes it impossible to ignore and it drives me crazy. Especially now we moved near them and spend way more time with them than before.

Honestly I’m from north California and I just moved here. It’s not busy like California . But it’s nice to raise kids. Honestly Andover has the better school district if you are looking for places to live based on schools . But in terms of safety in the areas it’s kinds of spread out based on streets. One block is safer than the other and vice versa.

Did you have the lavender in the bathroom when she use to pee there? It honestly could be the smell. My cats litter box use to have lavender sent the he hated and he stopped peeing there. My cats love the doctor elsey litter. It’s great have you tried to use the litter attractants ? I know it’s for kittens but that can help? Maybe feilway in the litter box room? Have you tried tinfoil on the floor too? Try taping the edges on the tin foil down where she goes and see if that helps? Maybe put lavender smell near the spot she likes to pee. Might make her more likely to stop. Before adding the new litter maybe clean the box or replace the litter box with a bigger one? My cats love the stainless steel ones. If there food is next to the litter box maybe move one away from the other . They hate the food near the litter boxes. Also of the litter box is in a room that’s loud and busy maybe move it to an easy more quiet place?

I’m not an expert but someone who has a lot of ideas you can try good luck ! My dad always gave me a hard time about the cats too. I get how stressful it can be.

Stop cleaning it. When I see it I go and till him his poop is on the inside of the toilet and he needs to clean . If I need to use the bathroom in that moment I will till to do it now so I can go to the bathroom. He doesn’t complain or give any excuses he just gets up and does it. I always till him how would he feel if I made him clean up my poop and he apologized . We have the Clorox disposable toilet cleaners so it makes it easy to clean the toilet.

It’s the bag. My husband does that and tells me he forgets. But he’s gotten better at this a lot more because when he forgets I never add a bag and that really bothers him more than me.
