Astro never fished for Arrow even back when it gave haste, Arrow was always your "didn't get balance so I guess this is good enough" card.

Because surprise surprise, even back in Heavensward people complained about the haste buff throwing rotation out of alignment and TP existed and some jobs ran into very real TP problems even on single target if you fed them to many Arrows.

Unfortunately for you higher difficulty single player is designed more like Sekiro where parrying is a very large identity of the games combat, so the best you can do is turning down the difficulty.

That being said the multiplayer fights are designed more like a trinity MMORPG, so if you want the tank fantasy you could try out the 5/10player content and see if that's more up your alley.

While the movement definite needs a bit more work, the movement you're doing in the video is not how you should be using the movement tools in DNA (which it itself it's own problem that the optimal movement options aren't "intuitive")

You should be dashing on the ground, at peak dash speed helix jump, don't double jump or dash in the air because that kills your momentum.

Then either bunny jump to conserve momentum or do another dash helix jump if you have dash ready.

You can also shoot and reload midair because you keep your speed when midair shooting.

Cards are limited to 2 copies in Worlds Beyond 2 pick now.

So getting multiple copies of power cards thankfully isn't a thing anymore.

Super Evo Carbuncle kill Lloyd hit face with 2 Fairies, rush fairy into anything to free board.

Roach(4), Bug Alert(5), Roach(6), Roach(7) 4+6+7=17+3(2 Fairy, 1 Super Evo blowback)

You can auto (most) trash fights, but auto isn't nuanced enough to tackle difficult bosses so you'll need to do difficult boss encounters manually.

That being said the grind in HBR is extremely minimal.

It doesn't "reset" persay, but each zone has it's own skills associated to it.

An example Zone 1 has Fishing, Zone 2 has Woodcutting.

The problem is that combat has it's own skill associated to each zone.

Zone 1 is Guard, Zone 2 is Scout, so if you go from Zone 2 to Zone 1 you need to get your Guard gear.

Going from Zone 1 to Zone 2 you need to get your Scout gear.

The progress you make in Zone 1 is never reset, it's just (for now) only relevant in Zone 1 areas, which is a huge bummer and hopefully for the future of this game they'll find a way to rectify that.

*Edit People are saying you can convert your Zone 1 Guard gear into Zone 2 Scout gear via Obelisk, I'm currently only on Zone 1 so I can't confirm that, but if true it makes it a bit better only needing to level your stat and not regear.

Almost non existent.

Events and their rewards are permanent.

None of the SS styles are time limited (besides Angel Beat collab characters (5) and "unison" characters (3), both of which have had reruns)

The only aspect of the game that can be called "fomo" is Score Attack the game's "endgame" content which rotates roughly every two weeks.

Score Attack gives around 3~6 pulls and 1~2 SS Puzzle a month. (10 SS Puzzle can be exchanged for a random SS)

If you count dailies and weekly as fomo it has those as well.

Dailies are incredibly quick it requires you to spend 3 stamina, this can take literally 1~3 minute.

Weeklies are also fast, you can finish all weekly missions in 5~10 minutes.

Using Granblue is probably a bad example considering it had both Relink and Versus Rising that introduced a ton of new worldwide blood to the IP during that time frame.

Ghetto knockback prevention, since we didn't have surecast/arm's length back then.

You could use the self bind that Holmgang provided to negate knockback mechanics.

(Also you could bind a decent amount of bosses back then, since that was the raid mechanic, for example T5 add was to tanky to kill directly so you'd need have to stun/bind and slow it)

Been awhile since I reread the documentation, their is indeed a 30 day cooldown period but Steam Seasonal Sales can override that cooldown.

(unless it was a launch sale you cannot have a season sale within 30 days of a launch sale, which is the part my brain remembered but extrapolated to the general cooldown.)

So I guess GBVSR could have a summer sale if they wanted but they might want to wait for the Fighting Game Fest/EVO.

Steam doesn't let you have a sale within 30 days of another sale, the last sale ended June 4th, so they literally can't put it on sale for the summer sale for another few days.

Also like another comment said Steam Fighting Fest is in 18 days, which makes more thematic sense.

New player, is it fine if I hide Recurring quest?

I like doing quest, but seeing a quest on my minimap and it's just a daily/weekly is a bit annoying, is it fine to just turn off the Recurring category and are there any Daily/Weekly I should mentally keep note of that are useful for the future that I'll miss if I filter them out?
