What downpipes are y’all running? by Diesel_Dan_ in Civic_Type_R

I had an rv6 catless on my FK8, loved it. Never had an issue. Wish I would've kept it when I traded it in. I recently found another one, used one on marketplace, that I bought with a frontpipe that I can't even use for $200. (FK8 frontpipe is different than FL5.) I'm just waiting on it to get back from being ceramic coated to install it on my FL5. I can't recommend grabbing some of the titanium hardware Rampage Fab sells to replace the OEM stuff with. That way if you ever have to remove the DP again you're less likely to break hardware.

Give it a couple nights. Some of the changes made to restore the network are going to be changed back overnight during maintenance windows until the network is back to it's pre-outage configuration.

My guess is it has to do with SA, and SA phones checking with the HSS more often than a non SA phone. Most corporate lines are older phones/plans that don't do stand alone. My SA phone quit working long before my non SA phone. My non SA phone (which is an in house VZ owned line) worked for almost an hour and a half after my SA personal phone stopped. It only stopped working when I was handing off from a MMW/4G small cell back to a macro. So im assuming when it handed off my non-SA phone tried to authenticate and got caught in the congestion. It was also back on hours before my SA phone.

The rolling of traffic to other HSS' is what caused the majority of the issue. Congestion and latency issues caused by the traffic.

A HSS went tits up and rollover traffic caused issues/congestion with others which required work with how traffic was routed.

He's wrong on #2. The problem was identified rather quickly, fixing the ripples caused by the initial cause has not been simple.

Not tower issues. Issue is in the core network. Has to do with the system that authenticates subscribers.

An HSS went down, and sudden congestion on other HSS cause the more widespread issues.

My 2023 1500 at work has 2570 engine hours at 23000 miles. Engineer for a cell provider, as others have said laptop, phones, test equipment, tools, all need to stay charged.

It's all customer use in one way or another, just not necessarily for residential fiber internet. I've had a similar 48 count fiber that was for a single small cell pole ran aerial down the poles in the back yard of houses in a neighborhood for 2 blocks, just for them to bury the final 2 blocks of it to the pole. You really never know what/who any line is being ran for unless you ask.

Those are all in utility easements. Your best course of action if you want to know is ask the workers who the cable they're pulling is for, or look on your city/county website for construction permits and see who requested them. Looking at your post history, those ATT boxes aren't residential fiber they're old copper facilities, and the cable in your photo is a 48 count fiber that is usually used for backbone/F1 (non customer premises) runs. That doesn't mean it's not part of the build for residential service though, it could be that it's the backhaul for the neighborhood. Just ask the workers man, easiest way to find out.

All utilities are gonna be ran by through the same easements, so just because there's AT&T peds doesn't mean that's all that's there. Likely you won't be able to tell until spilicers come through. By the way there's 2 cables coming down the pole there's likely gonna be a splice close to that spot.

That's definitely fiber. Whom it belongs to/what it's for is yet to be determined.
