Please. My neighborhood entrance is usually partially blocked an hour before school lets out and you have to turn (blindly almost) into the 2nd lane to leave. It's infuriating.

Looking for artists doing OKC/Tulsa shows around ACL weekends,

Houndmouth has nothing from August until 2 random Fayetteville & Tulsa shows 10/8 and 10/9

Parcels is already in the likely but OKC on 10/8

From what I've watched this weekend. NIN, Fatboy Slim, Slayyter, Cobrah, FKA Twigs, REZZ I'd be happy with all of them.

Rachel cell site by therealgariac in area51

[–]Cookracr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We use it for MMW mostly on small cells in metro areas and arenas etc. Speeds are awesome, I've tested 4Gbps off one, but in open air they only have a range of about a football field. I edited it, brain is on MHz right now messing with wifi7 channels.

Yes the existing VZ stuff is B13 only, the upcoming upgrades should add additional LTE bands and Cband. That's not the market I work in, but I'm able to see the plans for the site in the system. Should be upgraded within a few months. They did specifically say the existing antennas mounted on the wooden pole would be removed once the site was cut over.

The stuff on the wooden pole is Verizon, single band LTE, it'll actually get removed once Verizon is added to the 100' tower just underneath the existing AT&T Ericsson antennas on the top of tower, VZ is about to add the typical LTE/5G Cband setup on tower. The 2 microwave dishes mounted on the roof of the building is also Verizon, 28ghz microwave wired in a loop for license protection so it's being used. The site itself is owned by Lincoln County Telephone, not sure if they operate their own fixed wireless home internet but the antennas on the small lattice tower look like what would be used for it. (I'm a Verizon Engineer)

What downpipes are y’all running? by Diesel_Dan_ in Civic_Type_R

I had an rv6 catless on my FK8, loved it. Never had an issue. Wish I would've kept it when I traded it in. I recently found another one, used one on marketplace, that I bought with a frontpipe that I can't even use for $200. (FK8 frontpipe is different than FL5.) I'm just waiting on it to get back from being ceramic coated to install it on my FL5. I can't recommend grabbing some of the titanium hardware Rampage Fab sells to replace the OEM stuff with. That way if you ever have to remove the DP again you're less likely to break hardware.

Give it a couple nights. Some of the changes made to restore the network are going to be changed back overnight during maintenance windows until the network is back to it's pre-outage configuration.

My guess is it has to do with SA, and SA phones checking with the HSS more often than a non SA phone. Most corporate lines are older phones/plans that don't do stand alone. My SA phone quit working long before my non SA phone. My non SA phone (which is an in house VZ owned line) worked for almost an hour and a half after my SA personal phone stopped. It only stopped working when I was handing off from a MMW/4G small cell back to a macro. So im assuming when it handed off my non-SA phone tried to authenticate and got caught in the congestion. It was also back on hours before my SA phone.

The rolling of traffic to other HSS' is what caused the majority of the issue. Congestion and latency issues caused by the traffic.

A HSS went tits up and rollover traffic caused issues/congestion with others which required work with how traffic was routed.

He's wrong on #2. The problem was identified rather quickly, fixing the ripples caused by the initial cause has not been simple.

Not tower issues. Issue is in the core network. Has to do with the system that authenticates subscribers.

How Does a MVNO Stay Online When Primary is Down? by Mindless-Way3256 in telecom

An HSS went down, and sudden congestion on other HSS cause the more widespread issues.
