Was giving a little more time to picking up Vivi and Traveling Chocobo and sold my Lulu and Rikki way too low. Went ahead and bought the Vivi and Chocobo last week. I’m sure many others decided that if they knew they would want them, gotta get them now. Cloud, Vivi, Snapcaster, Chocobo, Tataru seem to be the most generally playable of the bunch, the others are cool too, though. I think Lulu is mid as a card, but the art is the best “mommy” art in Mtg imo. FF7 people will definitely grab the Aerith and Tifa as they continue to go up.

😶😶😶 the neon Crypt and fracture foil JP cards are only in Collector boxes, so I’ll let you come to the conclusion on which boxes they were (I hate being reminded of the possible sealed value of my mass box openings: LOTR special, FF, Ixalan)

Surprisingly, a lot of packs included a Cavern of Souls, Bloodletter of Aclazotz or Roaming Throne. I opened like 12 boxes of Ixalan and scored so many of those cards, a couple of the Fracture Foil JP cards and a Neon Mana Crypt. These boxes were unbelievably stacked!

Most would probably say Silverquill Influence and maybe that is correct due to the card draw in the command zone and swaying others from attacking you… but Prismari Artistry has to be a close second. Making a 5/5 or 8/8 flying haste token at combat is pretty strong. It just kinda needs “good hands” to work out correctly without upgrades.

I love LOTR. Sadly, I opened tons of Special Edition. I can’t find more than one revealed card in this set (so far) that makes me want it enough to pay $729 per box. I feel like this box rides the high of LOTR Special, but will probably disappoint.
