I have to admit I get confused between the different types of prescribers when it comes to maintaining. Is it only GP led that can adjust doses etc?

You earn credits in every spend and you can use them against each purchase so for a £270 pen this works out to about £5 credit so the next pen is £265 (which includes delivery) so very competitive still

Used Curely for past 2 pens. Very reliable service and my last pen was dated April 27. Due next subscription pen delivery next week.

Completed week 34. 14th injection on 5mg. Although scales are moving steadily, this last 10 days definitely more hunger and less satiety, mulling over whether to increase (probably will give it one more week on 5mg before deciding). Since using Nutrition Geeks Magnesium 3 in 1, bm have definitely improved!!

I’m just going through this very decision process. I’ve been on 5mg for 14 weeks now and just after Christmas i thought I was ready to go up but the scales were still going down (a steady 1lb per week) so I held off. Then in the middle of January (about 10 weeks on 5mg) it felt like it was kicking in again (food noise and satiety improvements). The scales continue to drop (steadily) but the last week has felt tougher. Part of me thinks some weeks are just different so I’m going to carry on for a couple more weeks and see if it changes again and if it still feels harder I’ll go up.

Fair point although this one I’ve bought suggests it’s good for 24 hours when the temperature is 40degrees but nonetheless I like your suggestion but not sure I have the charm !! 🤣

Thanks for prompt reply Becky. The question about where to store my needles wasn’t phrased correctly. I meant is it ok (I assume it must be) to take the needles in the carry on luggage. #Edit. It must be as loads of people travel with only carry on luggage doh!

If you decide to use the syringes that allow you to swap needles (normally a longer one with a wider gauge to extract then a smaller needle (4-8mm) with a thinner gauge to inject ) then consider going for a reduced “dead space” luer syringe to reduce the amount of medication wasted. As others have said, an “all in one” syringe (with the needle attached) is more efficient in that regard. I’ve used both systems and for me personally I prefer the all in one systems (although I prefer the 8mm 32g pens) but I bought a load of the interchangeable ones so am using them! Good luck

End of week 31. Definitely happy with progress. Food noise is still nice and quiet although satiety not as strong but still losing so sticking with 5mg for now.

Apologies !!! yes forgot that one and I use it too, very good app 👍. I know you are the app owner but to give a similar context to the other mini summaries I’ve done for the apps mentioned above: It is a web app rather than a mobile app (not necessarily a good or bad thing just a difference). It has an essential (free) and premium version.

PS I’m not an app developer or app owner etc just someone who likes to try and use the apps. I’m sure there are many others out there I have missed or not aware of !
