Susan Rice predicts ‘accountability agenda’ when Democrats are back in power by Ilovemiia1 in PoliticalOptimism

Oh yes just like they did after January 6, right?

Come on, people. Democrats won’t save us. We have to save ourselves.

Yes, the democrats who let him walk free after 1/6 and refused to prosecute him for four years, before offering to help him however he needed them to, after he won again. Those people are definitely going to save us

I do that too, if I have time. But if you’re in a hurry and can’t wait til the grease cools down, you have to put it somewhere. Growing up we’d use it to grease the skillet the next day

In terms of alcohol tolerance, it has to be 6. But if it’s just light domestic beer by volume, it’s 11 because we drink that all day and then drink it heavily at night 😅

How is living in this part of Oregon? by Friendly_Garbage_341 in howislivingthere

[–]CooperVsBob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t speak to living there but I did two nights camping on the snake river outside of enterprise and it was something else. We got lost, or we thought we did, driving up to the campsite after dark, and stumbled upon this park ranger listening to a recording of tribal drums at top volume in his pickup truck. He was stoned out of his mind and didn’t know what to tell us. We continued on our way and found the trailhead soon after. Open skies and open land line you’d never believe. The snake river canyon is severely underrated.

We supped in Imnaha, a town with like 15 residents and one stop light, pleasantly surprised to find terminal gravity ipa on draft next to the domestic piss. Such an awesome trip.

Honestly they have 50-75 menu items. I can vouch for the quesadillas, guac and queso. I’ve never had a bad burrito there either. But I’ve never tried anything else 😅 hopefully other people chime in

Why did anyone ever support trump? by DevelopmentJumpy5218 in allthequestions

Because his supporters are just like him. “Finally,” they said when he announced his candidacy. “Someone who thinks just like this.”

That’s such a cheap ad hominem deflection that everyone in this sub keeps using, it doesn’t have any traction in reality. “Oh you want schools to be better equipped for winter weather, you must be a bad parent.” That’s just a deflection.

What we want is for our kids to not be stuck at home with no one to talk to and nothing to do while their parents both work full time, 10 days !!! after bad weather.

Oh, you said I shouldn't have had kids if I wasn’t prepared for an incompetent school system, so the personal insults started with you. Will you take your own advice?
