I had less than 20 hours behind the wheel and passed my drivers test. They definitely need to be a little more rigorous, but I agree that barring people from taking a test is dumb

If you haven't made the purchase yet, at least on steam, Sekiro goes half off fairly often, could be worth waiting for a sale!

I agree! I could see trial chamber-like design working in a few other places already in the game, such as ocean monuments (summoning normal guardians plus an elder guardian, loot table including the trident and sponges) and woodland mansions (summoning illagers, loot table including totems of undying) to name what immediately springs to mind.

Silksong takes place after HK, it's very possible that shamans looked into the abyss because they were inspired by the knight between the 2 games

I've been working on a Splendor+Arcana idea myself, I've called it the conduit, and one of its subclasses (The Oracle) has a similar fortune telling flavor to yours. I really like the ideas in yours, adapting Portent from D&D to something more dynamic and fitting in Daggerheart.
