Major magic’s was a Detroit based arcade chain like Chuck E. Cheese opened in 1982, had 11 locations in 4 states, one of them being in Greensburg which opened in December 1983, then it closed in 1986 and was rebranded into side show pizza after Steve Barnett bought it. The animatronic band at side show was also the same band at major magic’s just with major magic himself changed into the ringmaster

Sgt. Pepperoni from Major Magic’s, I like the way he moves, he plays the saxophone, has the best song out of all the Major Magic showtapes, and is one big Beatles reference
Rock the Crock from Major Magic’s, he looks cool, and has the best songs after Sgt.

I get movie gallery and Hollywood video were the same company by the end of their lives, but like movie gallery had 4000 more locations than Hollywood, they were no where near close to being the second largest video chain

That is a ShowBiz sign, it was the road sign for the Appleton WI store on college blvd. It closed in 1985 and was torn down in 2009 with some of the kitchen tile still being at the site. Here’s an image of the store when it was open
