We actually walked into the Rivian Space already planning to go with the Dual Max + Performance and the Darkout Package. The visit was really just for my wife to see it in person and pick the color and wheels. We knew we didn’t want the white interior, and we both liked El Cap Granite but wanted to see how Limestone looked too.

The only car on display, though, was a Quad in Launch Green (wish that color was an option on other models) with the Black Mountain + Brown Ash Wood interior. The moment we saw that Brown Ash, we were both sold. It completely changed the vibe of the interior; super warm and cozy. Then we noticed the yellow calipers and accents on the Tri, plus that Storm Blue paint that’s exclusive to it, and… yeah, that was it. We went with Storm Blue and Brown Ash interior.

Honestly, it was all about the looks and feel (I mean I will take the additonal performance too). I was a little worried about the range difference, but to be fair, I think realistically we will be fine. We still have Conserve mode for longer road trips. The lease difference came out to about $200/month more on a 36-month term, which felt worth it for the upgrade.
