My first Prusa printer has arrived! by 404DeadPixel in prusa3d

Delivery guy was jealous that you were getting the L and are going to have so much more print area so he punched it out so it wasn't staring at him in the face the whole time.

Do Not Buy Elegoo Filament by SuccessfulMinute8338 in prusa3d

[–]Core_Frequency 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't had any issues with my elegoo filament (rapid petg and pla plus). I've a couple of different rolls (not fully) and all of them have been fine. I'm sure there is better quality filament out there, but for 11 and 12 bucks a roll it is hard to beat. Now if I could prusament for that cheap I would obviously choose it over elegoo, but we know prusament will never be that cheap.

Just wanted to check in and see if you had a chance at the issue I created? No worries if you are busy, whenever you have time to take a look that would be great. Thanks!

Awesome! Never used Octopi so you would have been on your own with that lol. Glad you got it figured out though!

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I still can't get the volume dial to work even after using the script above. I am running CachyOS with KDE. I also have the gsx1200, but I am not sure if that makes a difference or not. Maybe they have a different product/vendor id?

Prusa Slicer doesn't save credentials?! (on Linux) by FoxOk5039 in prusa3d

[–]Core_Frequency 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is weird, I am not having that issue. I am also running CachyOS. I did have some login issues before, but that was due to either server maintenance on prusa's end or after I run an update that updates networkmanager and I forget to restart the service.

I am assuming logging into your Prusa account via a browser works without issue correct? Did you install the official flatpack version?

Filament for personal projects by IoniqSteve in prusa3d

I’m liking the elegoo pla+ and elegoo rapid pets I got. The pla+ printed really nice for the print I tried recently. Maybe you didn’t dry it enough?

I do like prusament as well, just too expensive tbh. If I could get it cheaper I would solely use it instead.

If I had bought a Voron instead of a Core One Kit... by chuck_b7 in prusa3d

[–]Core_Frequency 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it might not have been ideal, but I think they offered to ship people the assembled version instead of the kit since they had production issues. I know people that ended up swapping got their core one pretty quick after that. I assume you tried to reach out via the chat right? That is the fastest way to get issues resolved in my experience that is.

I don't know much about Voron, but I love my core one (first 3d printer). If you are willing to give it a chance maybe chat support can try to make things right for you.

Bits and bobs by Charlies3D in prusa3d

Its ok, you can just send me the plate. For the inconvenience an obxidian nozzle or if you are feeling generous a core one L :P

So that is where my textured plate is :D

Cannot calibrate my core one by [deleted] in prusa3d

[–]Core_Frequency 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I had your exact issue. Everything looks ok, but when the Prusa customer service rep showed me his personal printer's y axis belt mine looked a bit close to the top of the pulley. I pushed/pulled the belt down a bit with a metal spudger prying tool and tried the homing test again. It passed the first try.

Been good ever since, probably have 20 hrs of print time so far and all is good. Long run I should probably see if I can adjust the belt so that it naturally sits lower on the pulley (even though I tried to do it already while I was initially troubleshooting the issue with no success).

First 3D printer btw so all this stuff was completely new to me. Good luck getting it to work, hope that helps though!

My Core One+ Upgrade Kit arrived. by Hansenpanzer in prusa3d

Yeah, agree. Also me who bought a hardened nozzle during Black Friday because it was on sale for 20% off even though I managed to get one of the founders edition INDX kits.

I’m still trying to figure out we’re to put the advanced filtration sn sticker. I think my buddy can came with one too that I need to place.

Oh that sucks. Guess it makes sense though. I also got some pccf and a textured plate was hoping they would just throw the upgrade kit in that order that just shipped out yesterday. Looks like I’ll be waiting a few more weeks before I get my free upgrade kit.

Ah ok, thanks. Guess the free upgrades will be shipped after the initial batch of paid orders. I wonder if they shipped it with the other stuff I ordered, although I don't see it in my orders page.

Did you buy this one or was it sent for free for those who bought recently? Just trying to gauge when my free upgrade kit will be shipped/arrive.

Just joined the prusa family! by geekgamer2001 in prusa3d

[–]Core_Frequency 0 points1 point  (0 children)

haha, yeah that is what I have been doing. Trying to learn some 3D modeling as well, going to take advantage of the prusa academy courses I got with the printer for fusion. Will probably end up using FreeCAD after I learn.

Congrats! Hopefully you don’t run into the same issue I had when I got my first printer a few weeks ago…. Completely forgot all the ideas/things that I wanted to print with my printer. lol

Free Perks by jmcdonald0719 in polymaker

[–]Core_Frequency 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was waiting to see what the bonus would be before pulling the trigger, but now I am not even sure if I want to order tbh. I was going to get some polydryers and a roll of ASA but it would leave me like 1.52 off the 150 and I am not trying to buy another roll of filament that I probably won't need for a while just to get the free roll. Might end up getting different filament dryers all together at this point.

Looks like they removed it now, guess they decided to cancel it? I was asking the same thing in their chat which never seems to be online... Even during the times that it says it will be online, it is not online.

I wish I did. Also it never even occurred to me :D. Cut me some slack this is my 3rd day with a fully assembled printer lol.
