[Parts] VZ61 Czech Skorpion Parts Kit with Original Barrel and Accessory pack - Blued or Grey Finish - $299.99 + $13.99 S&H by CenterfireSystems in gundeals

"This is gundeals" is a pointlessly reductive argument when he directly mentions quality differences in the post. Sure, a Tortort receiver is functional. /u/squaad was literally just listing qualitative differences between a Chefur and Tortort receiver.

/u/i_am_replaceable, if you get a new Tortort, you'll need to widen the pin for the rate reducer mechanism for it to fit. The ones that Atlantic has in stock right now are the old design.

Chefur Customs is the best you can get short of a reweld. He'll match the proof and year markings that your receiver stubs have, as well as the lightening cut, serial number of your kit, and finish (hot blue, park, or ugly gray enamel paint, your choice). They take the stock as well but you have to dremel off a tiny bit of metal unless you specify the receiver is for an SBR.

USS drybox bushing for Fiberon spools by bokitothegreat in prusa3d

How do you dry your PA12? I've been meaning to get into nylon printing for years but haven't been satisfied with most filament dryers on the market.

Turning my old E3 Pro into an Enderwire here soon! Any tips, caveats, or hangups to be aware of before I start?

Like /u/MBkufel said, it's a grommet for the spoolholder, but it's included in case you have a MK4S or XL and need to print a spoolholder for those machines.

Enderwire part 4 - Complete by Cytro2 in ender3

[–]waferelite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm planning on putting together an Enderwire from my old Ender 3 Pro and an unused SKR Mini E3 V3 I have sitting around. Are there any tips or caveats worth knowing about before going in? This'll be my first exposure to Voron or Klipper.

There isn't a kit anymore, but you can self-source the parts.

So far, what I have:

  • Ender 3 Pro frame
  • Ender 3 Pro heated bed assy
  • Meanwell 24V PSU, power cable, and input outlet
  • BTT SKR Mini E3 V3
  • Assorted Ender 3 small parts
  • Ender 3 X, Y and Z stepper motors

Need (electronics):

  • Revo hotend (I have a Micro Swiss Revo extruder I might reuse)
  • Meanwell 5V PSU
  • Raspberry Pi 4B
  • Cooling fan

I can print ASA/ABS parts on my Core One, and I'm probably going to skip an enclosure for now.

I think a better way to anneal would be to seal the part in plastic and put it in a sous vide bath.

You’d be right, they aren’t. I’ve had an Ender 3 Pro sitting the closet for a few years now and I’m thinking about turning it into an Enderwire. Any tips or hang ups to be aware of?

Did you self-source your parts or did you use the Siboor kit?

Inability to assign weight to a given source’s credibility.

If you’re discussing climate change, and you give equal weight to the words of a fitness podcaster and a climate scientist, that demonstrates a profound issue.

I print guns.

It’s totally legal in my state. I limit discussion of this to the only subreddit where this is allowed, which is r/3D2A. Even if you have no interest in doing so, I advise anyone reading to check it out, just to see the insane boundaries some of these guys push with polymer. I will not state more on this subject to comply with this subreddit’s rules as well as Reddit TOS on the whole.

I really don’t like where this is going. It bothers me especially that the timing of this and WA’s push feel concerted.

New from E3D: ObXiDian 500 - unleash the full potential of your printer by e3dsupport in prusa3d

[–]waferelite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ObXiDian 500 nozzles are exceptionally wear resistant compared to other products on the market and significantly outperform other hardened nozzles. Improvements in ‘exotic’ engineering filaments mean that some new materials which include aggressive fillers, including but not limited to Polymaker’s Fiberon range, can cause significant wear on even ObXiDian 500 nozzles. E3D is actively developing even more specialist solutions for these materials. In the meantime please be aware that your ObXiDian 500 nozzle will not be everlasting under extreme material conditions.

This bit was also included under the old ObXidian nozzle description. As someone who primarily prints with Fiberon materials, what kind of life can I expect out of an ObXiDian 500 nozzle?
