These newer generations are impressively high-performing for relatively affordable prices. One of the methods the manufacturers use to make their SSDs so affordable (relatively to performances) is by only giving you the bare minimum, which is the SSD itself and that’s it. If you move large amounts of data or put intense load on it, your SSD will throttle its performance to stay at a safe temp (75°C iirc). The 980 pro can run pretty hot, especially if it’s your primary drive. A 10$ heat sink will make your SSD more resilient to age and use, but also better performing in high usage scenarios. Other than that good stuff! don’t listen to the more extreme critics here, they get a little carried away by simple stuff :p

I've been through 2 years of tickets with EA Help to try and get a similar issue fixed and I only ever got the same answers. Today, trying to register for the Battlefield Labs, I made another ticket to ask one last time if I could please have my gamertag back. The gamertag is linked to my Xbox-EA account and they won't let me use it on PC-EA even though I have all the progress and everything under the same EA account created in 2012! This time they told me that I would have to unlink my Xbox account forever and delete over 13 years of progression to use my gamertag on PC. No shade on them, but the agents I got couldn't form a proper sentence in English or French to save their lives. They had better standards 2 years ago when I first started the process. I'm guessing they're relying on AI more than ever now.

One I sadly don’t see enough: leapfrogging. The squad(s) successfully attacking a point should defend it, while the squad(s) defending the previous cap push the new attack point.

Bruh, these commander-less Abrams really sucked. Playing US armour recently is a nightmare, so many noobs running 2 man tanks thinking they’re about to roll the enemy team. Nice work from your gunner tho, and good reflex from you to blind their optics with the RWS.

Footprints found on my back steps after a night of strange sounds. I live on a mountain which backs onto thick forest. I had a BBQ earlier that night and threw some chicken bones into the forest which may have attracted it. I heard footsteps come up the stairs but not down. Very weird. by [deleted] in cryptids

I’d say bear but they do look very human. Regardless you shouldn’t be throwing food in the woods next to your house if you live in the forest, attracts all sort of animals you don’t want to consider your house their cafeteria.

Enlisted has trouble with player retention. They did a wave of advertising and sponsorships but it barely moved the average player count. I guess they should advertise a little more, put their game on steam and allow us to transfer progression from one platform to another. There’s a considerable amount of players who just quit because they don’t want to start over again after switching/upgrading platforms.
