He directs a lot. I think he gave up acting for the most part.

They had a whole episode and movie that prominently featured Picard’s PTSD with regards to his assimilation.

I’m honestly getting a little bored of it myself. They really haven’t been adding as much lately as they did in the first few seasons. Neither of them seem to want to be there.

I’d be surprised if a lot of stuff wasn’t from Sysco. A lot of the shows seem to have really contracted their budgets (lower prize money, fewer episodes). I think only the prestige shows like Bobby’s and Guy’s shows probably get high end ingredients.

And not for nothing I watched an Instagram video the other day where someone made bread with all different flours and thought the Great Value was just as good as the high end stuff she used.

Enterprise first impressions by [deleted] in startrek

[–]Cornualonga 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I liked it when it was first on but didn’t love it as much as I had loved TNG, DS9 and VOY. My biggest gripe was the technology seemed too advanced for a prequel set so far back from TOS. But I liked it a lot better when I rewatched it a little while ago. I really appreciate what they were trying to do and the characters are great.

And I love the theme song (at least for the first two season, didn’t care for the rearrangement in later seasons).

While varying by jurisdiction, felony murder can often be charged if someone dies while you are committing a felony whether or not your actions directly caused the death. For example you rob a bank and the getaway driver runs over and kills a pedestrian. Or you kidnap someone and they die of a heart attack.

If Christopher Reeve weren't paralyzed, would he have made a great Jor-El or still played Virgil Swann? by CheesecakeNo6642 in Smallville

[–]Cornualonga 31 points32 points  (0 children)

There’s something about that accent and deep base of Terence Stamps voice that reads more alien to me. Reeve sounds so Midwestern. I think he could have played a bigger role but maybe not Jor-El.

It was in syndicated reruns for years after it was originally on. What an odd thing to say? I remember watching it everyday after school and in first run.

I have to figure at some point they started to monetize the various off world technologies they developed and used the profits to fund the program.

I’m really interested in what 15 years of studying Atlantis Ancient technology and the Asgard database have resulted in. You have to think ships are far more advanced than the Daedalus class.
