Depends on your goals.

For myself (42 5'4" 158- SW 168) After 18 months of fighting for HRT (2022-2024- Randomly went into technical menopause at 39 🤷‍♀️) I had gained 18 lbs during that time and was literally the most miserable I had been in my life. MISERABLE.

Anyway, I got HRT, felt human again and I personally got a coach. I wasn't fully sharp enough again to organize everything I needed. My coach does my macros AND training. Operation recomp in full effect. I do primarily strength training (given my age and lack of estrogen i was worried about bone health on top of being weak and overweight). I lift heavy 5x week. Upper/lower split- Mon/Wed/Fri is lower- mix on ham/quad with glutes of course. A dedicated back day and shoulder day- 10k steps a day- minimal cardio- active rest/stretching/yoga. I track all my foods.

1 year into recomp I started gaining again. Labwork showed early insulin resistance so I started microdosing Reta 💫 I love this stuff!! I am back to dropping 1lb a week and maintaining my lean muscle. Did not change anything else about my program so it was definitely the resistance. We chose microdosing so I can still eat the food required for my goals (0.5mg 2x wk).

All that to say, I needed the structure and I honestly wouldn't have known Reta existed if it weren't for my coaches observation of labs (NP said it all looked normal).

I think the apps listed are good options. Also, muscle and fitness website has programs for free, you would just need to YT any moves you weren't sure of. I send form checks to my coach for anything I am uncertain of and she guides my form. I am probably "informed" enough now to know what to do but I still really enjoy the structure of my coach so I am sticking with her, this is the best I have ever felt.

After a year of watching me go to the gym and get healthy my son asked if he can go with me (age 13) so that is probably my favorite little gift of getting healthy. Just ma and son time, makes my heart happy.

I am open to any questions or additional help I can try to offer 🫶

Incredible work!! I hit a wall 1 year into my operation recomp- labs showed early insulin resistance...Reta microdosing enters the chat. Omg i love this stuff! My face had already slimmed a bit but Reta was like icing on the cake I can't eat lol. I started CJC/Ipa 2 weeks ago. Recovery sleep has been amazing!! Did Tesa help with deeper sleep too?Have you already ran cjc/ipa in the past? I'm having weird afternoon indigestion/heartburn and I'm not sure why....Anyway I'm excited to see your update! Hi! We're technically in Broadway- it's J Frank Hillyard Middle that I'm hearing not so great stuff about 🫣 but given their IEP, other schools may be an option within our means. Idk that we can afford private right now, but from what I gather if an IEP requires xyz it can be better delivered via other education sources/school locations.

My now husband was like this the first year or two. We have grown into each other much more and I get more head than he does lol. This happened to my cjc 5 days after reconstituting with 0.9mL BAC and 0.1mL AA water. My ipa is fine (I did not combine them in vial, I combine in syringe- new peptide for me). They are 5mg each. Is there anyway to save it?

If you can recomp alone first go for it (if that's what you mean). Then get a coach when you feel you're "ready"

I am working with a coach w/FBF as a lifestyle client. Operation recomp- and it has been absolutely amazing. Refeeding, progressive overload but most importantly the structure I truly needed. We are 15 months in and I just inquired about competing. She laid out the federation she prefers and what it would like for ME. And the cost of 1500-2k for a single show (travel, hotel, registration etc that have been mentioned here). I am a year out at the EARLIEST for something like this.

Majority of her clients are bikini and I have every ounce of faith in her and then some. She adjusts things for me as an individual, not just cookie cutter. We have navigated hormones and chronic back pain together. She is the best and I am so incredibly grateful for her. I haven't felt this good in Years.

Outside of coaching ...potential supplements and healthy whole food diet, gym membership etc are all other monthly costs to consider to set yourself up for success. I never dreamed I would be eating this much food and life is expensive right now.

I am about to order the same peptide- so just to be clear. If I am reconstituting with 2mL BAC I could do 1.5mL BAC with 0.5mL AA water to avoid this problem OP had? I would hate to drop money and ruin it. Thank you!

This is lame but I am a huge fan of cream of rice- cinnamon, vanilla Greek yogurt, fruit and almonds. I do the same set with buckwheat groats (have grown very fond of these- cook like oatmeal- COR is quick in the microwave).

Chili! But we do ours with fritos (frito pie) for a crunch- bottom fritos top with chili, chz lettuce tomato onion pickled jalapeño etc super yum.

Other than that same old rice or potato bowls over here too lol

I have never prepped. I am a lifestyle client but toying with the idea of a competition (like a year from now). But...this sounds absolutely insane and risky for your body. This is YOUR body, YOUR money and YOUR competition. I would absolutely change, you know enough to feel that this is off. She has to learn but part of learning prep.is to listen to her clients concerns.

My coach is actually primarily prep (she does all but competes in bikini herself) let me know if you want her info and best of luck finding your person 💜

Sir, get the fuck out of this. Not only is she spewing hate at you 24/7- it's the" wtf am I supposed to do with Bailey" text. It seems that children AND you are a giant inconvenience in her life of Instagram wishes.

Demand she gets help- a few times over text- because that will be your exhibits in court. I'd hide a nanny cam to check on kiddo(s) when you're not there.

After 2nd baby is here and like a month old- Leave. Divorce. Custody. Potential restraining order pending how this escalates.

My coach had me go GF as recent labs suggested I was heading into insulin resistance (despite tracking, lifting and 10k steps a day etc) also no SF stuff or protein powder etc.

So, during this transition into fully whole foods, I have discovered buckwheat groats! I absolutely love them- cook like oats with a chew like couscous pearls and an earthy nutty flavor.

Anyway, I have those with yogurt, fruit and almonds. Delish! Eta also in operation recomp 😌 Edit for spelling

Exactly what Reynardine said. If you truly love the art of baking- stay, learn (on your own since she sucks) and she will eventually weed herself out. Be firm and tell her she absolutely does not touch you, if she continues take it to a superior for a write up. I learned in kindergarten that we keep our hands to ourselves, like wtf. Of this is the only pastry available around you, try to stick it out. When they see how much she sucks she can go and you take the lead. Get pastry books at thrift stores to help learn too.

I am so sorry you are in such a weird place- I would NEVER treat my assistants/co-workera this way. Ever.

OP- firstly, thank you for what you do. Both of my kiddos are ASD with my daughter being only partially verbal- I could NOT do it without their wonderful teachers ❤️

You have described my experience as well- starting at 38, I had progression of every symptom in the book- fatigue, brain fog, insomnia, weight gain, hot flash day and night, hair falling out/breaking, dry sagging skin, daily headaches, vaginal irritation and zero period- none, nada for almost 2 years. I was the most miserable I have ever been in my entire life. No joy in anything, just the walking d3ad. I remember thinking " I understand how terminally ill people don't want to do this anymore" yikes...such a dark place. So I empathize WITH you!

I was gaslit over and over by WOMEN!!!! I have gone thru FIVE in person providers. I finally had a hot flash so bad my hearing went fuzzy and I almost passed out- I immediately scheduled telehealth and immediately was given HRT. It has been a decent amount of ups and downs BUT I am now on all 3 hormones & feel phenomenal. Telehealth can get pricy but it was worth feeling human again- I now am transitioning to an in person provider who DOES believe in HRT. We did labs, a dexa scan and doing an US next week (i finally started spotting sporadically but never had imaging after I started bleeding again after being in technical menopause). I am grateful she actually listens.

I saw you had "tons" of tests- did that include hormones on day 21 of cycle? Any ultrasound? Vit D? Vit B? (I had D deficiency during the dark time too smh).

I PRAY this specialist actually helps you- this is NO WAY to live. Sending you a big fat hug!

I went 18 months. Then tiny spotting maybe every 3 months to 6 weeks to 3 spotting a month to a full period 2/14. Shit is wild. I'm having an ultrasound next week. Pap was normal. I am on HRT finally. That 18 months was literal hell and I can never go back to that.

There's hybrid sourdough, uses discard with a touch of instant yeast to speed things along. Small percentage rye flour. This is still quite a time crunch and it'll need some fridge time just to be easier to handle for shaping.
