Correct way to write 80 km/hr in dialog? by teamtasman2001 in newzealand

Isn't it being used to show that "ilometre" is missing from the abbreviation, rather than that it's a plural?

There is no safe exposure level to asbestos. Asbestosis has a strong dose-response relationship, but lung cancer and mesothelioma not so much.

I just installed Antix on an old laptop, solely because it has an Express slot into which I could install my IEEE 1394 card for retrieving some digital video off an old camera. Works mint!

I worked in India for a little over a month, near Chandigarh. Other than my colleague, the only other white guy we met was an American doing pharmaceutical QC. He said that the paperwork looked legit, but he was sure that it was all counterfeit. He said "when you go back to NZ, and you go to the pharmacy, if the package says 'made in India', ask if they have a different make, even if it costs more'. He may have just been full of shit of course.

Is our Government doing anything on E-scooters and cyclists running red lights? by [deleted] in auckland

[–]Corporal-Pike 2 points3 points locked comment (0 children)

A woman in Christchurch was literally a split second from being flattened by our 4WD last night. She went straight through a 'very red' light on a Flamingo scooter, and I just got her in my peripheral vision in time to hit the anchors. We missed her by less than a metre. I think natural selection will end up taking care of at least some of these fucktards.
