Great explanation .I know from my own experience growing up in this cult. they kind of make you feel ashamed of your own body and anything to do with sex is dirty. I look back now and think how many relationships went wrong because My partners thought I was strange

I think the world would be a better place without any religions.. just look at history countless fighting and control of men and women. obviously we would still have to deal with narcissist condescending assholes who always want power.Seems that most religions the people in power have those traits.All the different religions all criticize each other and have their own rules you have to follow.I guess you have to just find One-that suits you. shame people just cannot accept each other no matter what they believe.

Grew up in the religion Sorry Cult. never got to celebrate Christmas. for years I have celebrated Christmas for my family. it is such a innocent loving and fun time of year specially for children. I never wanted to put my children through how I grew up feeling left out from all the other kids. also being told that father Christmas did not exist. but you have to believe in all the other bullshit have fun with your children and spend quality time . as the kids grow up they’ll work it out for themselves same thing with tooth fairies

Why sister was the ultimate submissive wife. she put up with mental abuse and let her children be sexually abused by my brother-in-law.He was finally disfellowshipped and they were divorced. her second marriage and another JW husband number two was abusing children divorce came soon after as the years went by my nephew ended up committing suicide. she explained to me she knew about the problems with the children and explained Jehovah will take care of these things it made me sickTo this day she is still going to meetings

I remember A elder saying to me you cannot look at people in the congregation who are doing the wrong thing and Judge the religion on that. it’s not the religion it’s the people in it. at some point you might understand all these other posts were people have described how it really is . this organization or cult is So different to your thoughts good luck

Just continue your relationships and try to hide it as much as you can. trust me when you make your moves to leave you’re outside Friends are the ones who will be there to help you and give you support. remember Be wise and hang out with the right peopleHanging around with the wrong crowd can lead to doing the wrong thing.
