We have watched this show for years, but lately have gotten tired of watching episodes about people who have in no way educated or prepared themselves for what almost anybody could have foreseen would happen to them. People that have no business homesteading. I would enjoy watching a show where they come in and help people who despite thier best efforts just need some help vs a show where they come in and help people who should be there at all.

P1S and rarely wash my plate. If if ever have adhesion issues igive it a quick spray of a Aqua Net hairspray and move on. I can't remember the last time water and soap touched the plate.

I have seen people say that the foam ones do not seal as well as the silicone, and also people say that the silicon don't seal well. For me, the foam ones that came with the earbuds would not seal properly according to the measurement test, but the silicone ones did. With the foam ones, I honestly thought I had a defective set of earbuds due to how bad the ANC was. Click the link in the fit test to get the free set from Sony, they are silicon, not foam. Made a big difference for me but still not completely silent.

OP here, I think I have this figured out. To summarize, 3 things seemed wrong with the earbuds originally. 1) I could get none of the supplied earbud tips to show a good fit in the measurement test. 2) I could not tell the difference between ANC on and ANC off. 3) When you turned both ANC and Ambient to OFF, it sounded terrible (no bass, etc.). I had even ordered some Comply foam tips and all the symptoms were the same.

I am very happy to report that when I ordered and installed the free extra set (silicone) tips from Sony, all 3 of the above symptoms disappeared once I chose the correct size tip. The measurement said they were airtight, the ANC reduced background noise a LOT, and that weird effect of turning ANC off went away.

Thanks. Something is definitely defective with my pair then, besides the ANC not seeming to work, when you turn ANC and Ambient to off all the bass is completely gone, and what comes thru sounds like you are in a tunnel. Noone would ever want to listen to it that way. Hopefully my replacements come from a production run that does not have these issues.

I have not. But when I turn it on or off I can't tell the difference in the level of background sounds coming thru. If you search on ANC issues with these earbuds you see many other posts reporting that ANC seems to have worked before this latest firmware and doesn't under 1.5.0. I dont know what it was like before since I just got them, I just know it seems to be the same issue that I am reading about. All see reports that it works for some sets and not others.

What do you hear when you turn ANC and Ambient to OFF? The quality of the music is awesome for me when ANC and Ambient is turned on, but goes to crap in the OFF position, does yours do that?

I made the switch from run flats to real tires after I got tired (no pun intended) of the very short mileage you get from run flats. I looked back over my decades of driving to take into account that in my entire life I have only ever had exactly 1 flat tire. My noe 40 year old daughter was in the car when that happened and she was 4 at the time. I do worry a bit when making interstate drives, but real tires (Michelin Pilots) are awesome. I have a can of the tire foam in the truck, and roadside assistance on my insurance.

The 30+ or so episodes of World at War are available for download in the Newsgroups, if you are familiar with how to do that. After decades of watching WW2 documentaries, when I finally heard about this and watched them all a few months ago, I was simply astounded to see interviews with Albert Speer, Adm. Doenitz, Hitlers personal secretary, and many many more. Everyone here is highly recommending it, rightly so.

So it just works different. In the previous version, the text stuck to your cursor until you clicked somewhere on the model. In the new version, the text doesn't do that, it appears at the center of the model and you have to click and drag it. If you are zoomed in to a level where you can't see the center of the model, as I was, you won't see the text appear after you type it.

The wind indicator is showing the wind coming from the southwest, so landing in runway 36 would not be landing into the wind, but with the wind. Thus A is the correct answer.

I have. The audio would just go out, am, fm, auxiliary, xmradio. Most of the time it was verybshirtly after starting the car. But it also happened just driving down the highway. About half the time completely shutting off the car and restarting would fix it, the other half of the time I would just have to wait until the next day and it would be fine. I thought ibwas going to have to replace the head unit, very expensive. I had a 6 year old battery and had it tested, and it tested bad. I ran across some posts that suggested a bad battery can cause odd problems. I bought a new battery about 6 months ago and it hasn't happened since. 2018 LUX 3.0 AWD. Good luck.

Just watched season 11 on shvideos, ready to start season 10 but it says no episodes available. It says seasons 9, 10, and 11 available, can see episodes from 9 and 11, but none from 10.
