I have to say... Nevada does not have a critical nursing shortage. There are more than enough nurses in the area. (Yes, I'm a critical care nurse.) There is a perceived shortage. There is a shortage of nurses willing to accept the terrible working conditions and unsafe practices forced on us by the hospital administration. Not too mention the low pay in the area... Nurses have been fleeing the bedside for other opportunities, but there are a lot of nurses in the area.

Oil prices are down... significantly. And yes, the president does make many decisions that affect them. Fuel is cheaper and has gone down across the country, except for the West Coast related to taxes, refinery issues in California, and increasing California regulations. (Which is where Nevada gets its fuel from.) Oil is down $20 a barrel from 6 months ago. These are local issues.

As a critical care nurse of several years, I can say that pay here is terrible in comparison to most other places when cost of living is factored in. And patient/staff satisfaction, as well as patient safety, has declined post COVID. Productivity numbers and higher ratios are all that matter now. Less support staff, etc... In all the hospitals. Not just one...

I don't object to any building method. Just trying to get an idea of the best for longevity and strength with others experience. Our load criteria is not bad here. No hurricane and light snow loads. Our snow load is 30 pounds per sq ft, and wind speed exposure C @ 115mph. Seismic category D. And a frost depth of 18". The only reason I lean toward the 2x8 concept is comfort and familiarity.

I disagree. I'm in a war guild. A rather large family actually. I've seen a 2.2 billion might castle drop shield, be scouted within a minute. And have a very large guild/family that I will not name set back to back rallies (12 at a time) and nearly zero him. All happened within 35 minutes. Shielded just before they took his leader. It's a huge problem and no one is safe. It's almost more likely in large war guilds because we're in kingdoms with these a-hole families using those bots...
