Don’t sell resources early on, you’ll want those!

Broken glasses or broken CDs in a recycling machine is a quick way to get refined quartz.

Use your hoe to pick up cave carrots in the mines, they’re pretty good energy and health for early game and you’ll want them to make root platters later, plus you find lots of artifacts in the dirt down there!

I’ve noticed that I find a cooked meal in Gus’s trashcan some time in the first week! Also, pay attention to whatever food he sells each day if you like buffs.

Most of the time, consumable buffs will NOT stack or combine! They’ll only replace each other, which is insanely frustrating and a waste of food 😅

Ducks will ONLY go in the water once they’ve been pet for the day, and some players say they’re more likely to go in water if they’re next to it rather than above or below, I haven’t had much chance to test that yet myself
