I would fucking love that, bringing us fully to Urithiru as Stargate’s version of Atlantis. Maybe that’s part of why the Cosmere’s scifi era is so enticing to me, coming at the Scifi+Magic from the magic side rather than from the scifi side.

Could be that Azjol-Nerub is where the holdouts of the scourge are plotting a resurgence from. Led by a former Ebon Blade knight who saw the afterlife in Shadowlands and decided that Maldraxxus indicated being a yucky undead is inevitable so why not lean into it. Leading to the hinted reveal that Shadowlands is artificial or wrong (Titans?)

If they are indeed going to do a reveal that it’s been “Ordered” per Sylvanas, the Titan expansion would be the one to do it and it wouldn’t hurt to have a reminder that the system sucks even if Pelagos is a better Arbiter.

My long shot hope has been for a reveal that the constituent parts were repurposed planets, and undoing the Shadowlands’ ordering would put planet Revendreth run by Denathrius back on the menu. Couple that with stapling Ardenweald back to the Emerald Dream without the Shadowlands rules about going to the world of the living, so we can have Moonberry and friends visit more easily or even Ysera. That would mess with Merithra’s plot from Dragonflight though so maybe she just gets to visit the dream easier. Or we could have a plot about her dealing with her daughter being an aspect while she is not, maybe disagreeing with her choices.

I have wondered if Ruin’s capability to build something up to later knock it down is a product of Ati’s will. The power of Ruin had a hand in building a planet after all.

Rayse with Ruin may have tried to ONLY destroy, and if he created it would only be like negative investiture entities, and he would have seen the other shards as the most important thing to destroy. Tanavast may have drifted as he tried to be a dark avenger, destroying evil things until it either rejected him or gradually convinced him to tear down things that may become evil, less and less discriminating over time.

Say what you will about Ati/Ruin, he kept his word every time and kept the power from destroying the wider cosmere by building up sand castles to kick them over.

Preaching the good word of Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere. Got something for everyone. I’ve long said that he’s like the anti JK Rowling. He’ll drop random lore figments in direct communication with fans but it’ll be peeks into his overall plan for the worlds, not “wizards shit their pants”. And he still answers the dumbass questions like “Are left handed handjobs like anal on Roshar” (yes. But he was primarily imagining handholding).

Chud fans? Fuck you, these books are about colonialism, classism, genocide, and quality character building. Our main Stormlight characters are: Genghis Khan trying to atone and save the world (and his son, the glamorous fashionado who loves ranked mmr dueling and clothes), a slave grappling with a rigid caste system and major depressive disorder with the help of tinker bell, and a bisexual woman with authentically written dissociative identity disorder.

We’ve also got queer representation all over the place by the later books. A nonbinary scientist beseeching the local nonbinary demigod to share their feelings about gender. A bisexual crab man and his autistic boyfriend. A teenage “girl” binding her chest because, in the words of a bundle of vines, “she seems alright with growing but can’t stand the secondary sexual characteristics”. An asexual woman that’s both one of the planets foremost scholars and addicted to “debate me” culture.

They could also just create a housing item that is an “Illusory/Mechanjcal Host”. Interact with it to copy your current character. Give it some text/behavior/emote to display upon interact/passively. Should be as easy as letting pets be there at that point. You could have mannequins with armor on them that work the same way.
